"I was told by Martin to go to the Great Hall and..." Kai trailed off as he arrived at the Great Hall, seeing Valerie alone with the tiger beastman. It seemed as if she was caught doing something wrong when she glanced at him with widened eyes. "The tiger shifted himself into his human form, I see," he remarked.
"K-Kai!" Valerie blurted out as she eyed Kai, who stood by the door. Her glance went over to the pants he held on his right hand as she gestured him to come over to her. "Can you give me a hand and help Zion wear some pants?"
Kai looked at the cage, and it was already open. He guessed that Valerie must have opened the cage for the tiger beastman. For some reason, he became more conscious as it might attack Valerie at any moment.
With Valerie’s back turned toward the unknown beastman, Kai went over to him and handed him the pants she had requested for.
