The wolf was starting to get on Zion’s nerves.
It wasn't his first time trying to rub it on his face. It was annoying how that wolf and Valerie seemed closer than they seemed.
The wolf was an important person for Valerie. He wanted to laugh at that thought, but he found himself wanting to become an important person for her as well.
Zion never thought of himself as someone indecisive. On the contrary, he was more of a type who sticks to his principles whatever, however, or no matter what the situation would turn out in front of him.
For some reason though, it aggravated him that the wolf found Valerie first before she found him.
The most unexpected thing for Zion was that he was feeling all of these. At first, he was only grateful to Valerie as the one who bid for his freedom. At least, that was all he was supposed to feel.
