It's a war for Valerie.
With no electric mixer or food processor present in the manor, Valerie whisked the powdered sugar, almond flour, and half a teaspoon of salt using her bare hands. She didn't think it through and just wanted to eat some of her favorite desserts.
As she sifted the almond flour that Butler Martin had to go through some hardships to acquire, she ended up with some of the flour falling on the table. So then, she started separating the egg whites from the egg yolks.
It was the most challenging part. Making a meringue without any electric whisk in the house would be the death of her right arm. Valerie was particularly strong, but there's no way that she'll be able to whisk all three egg whites continuously for a long time.
It could have been better if she let Martin help her with the making of macarons, but she refused his help, and that was the reason why she was having a hard time now.
