The tiger in its beast form kept making low, guttural, aggressive sounds, but that didn't make Valerie any less scared about the situation. Not for herself, of course, but rather for the beastman.
She looked around and heard the unpleasant murmurs of the audience present in the auction bidding.
Even the auctioneer seemed a bit flustered and didn't know what to do. Valerie could see the auctioneer's hand, trembling in fear as she glanced at the majestic tiger that was caged.
The auctioneer gulped and held her microphone. Valerie could even hear her voice quiver.
"A-As you can see," the auctioneer started as she glanced to the side. "A sumptuous tiger beastman is present in this bidding! H-He might be a bit threatening but he's very rare and is waiting for the right owner to tame him!"
"Boo," the audience shouted at a distance. "We want tamed beastmen, not volatile ones who would threaten our safety as owners!"
