When Gin entered the Sun's, it was 8 p.m. She actually wasn't that excited to go but her mood didn't get better at all since yesterday and staying at home didn't help her at all.
Gin was sitting alone on the sofa. She put a hand to cover her eyes while listening to the music bar. She didn't know why but she felt so tired and sleepy, which made an intention to sleep come to her mind. But before she could close her eyes, a loud voice came through behind the high shelf where antiques were displayed.
"Cheol, why do you look so annoyed? What's wrong, man?"
The man named Cheol spat. "I accidentally saw that b*tch again."
The friends sitting with him asked with interest, "Wow, who is that girl to make you curse."
"You may not know. Heh, that damn wh*re used to hang around like a piece of trash. She was so f*cked at the time, man. Don't be fooled by her normal appearance when she's just nothing more than a b*tch."
Gin opened her eyes when she felt that the voice was a little familiar. She couldn't tell exactly who it was but Gin was pretty sure it must be someone she had met years ago. Then she corrected her sitting position and began to listen with interest. She could even detect how much hatred that person had by how the man called Kang Cheol kept cursing and harassing the other party they discussed. Listening to it made Gin also wonder who the poor person was.
"Ha ha ha ha. I think I've heard you say her name. Song-who?"
"Song Gin. F*ck. Even a wh*re may even be better than her. Believe me, dude. You can know it by asking our same alumni at my junior high school. That girl is just a devil hoodlum who only knew how to be a thug. She really can't be rescued. It's just that she has a mysterious back-up who is quite powerful enough to cover her up. Otherwise, heh, she might be a broken one right now."
Gin wanted to laugh out loud. No wonder she felt a strange affinity for the person named Kang Cheol. It turned out the poor girl they were talking about was Gin herself, eh. How attractive this Kang guy was. How come after so many years he was still traumatized by her. Gin stroked her chin, feeling a bit regretful when she didn't notice Kang Cheol early today although she didn't know where they bumped into each other.
"Wow, Kang Cheol, don't speak so hypocritically. See how you sleep with her later."
Cheol put on a disgusting look when imagining that. "Who cares. With how much I hate her, it would be great to see her in despair. Even with that look at least, it will feel the same when the lights are turned off. Hahahahaha."
Gin laughed along with them even though they clearly insulted her worse than an animal. But who cared? They were just such little ants that were not worthy enough for Gin to take care of. Enough to listen more, Gin lifted the hood of her hoodie until it covered her eyes then continued her delayed sleep with her head down. In this dim room, of course, no one would be able to see her face clearly. Gin would just take Kang's words as a sweet lullaby, perhaps.
••
In the other corner, Kang Cheol's position right now was so close to the bartender's table that anyone could clearly hear how they were insulting a certain woman even though they weren't interested to listen.
"They were talking about that woman. Aren't you going to stop him?" said Gong Ju with a surprised look.
The two of them had been sitting at the bartender's table for a long time. At first, they were there to enjoy the drink but did not expect that they would hear something so sensational like this.
Song Gin, what did she do to make her enemy say disgusting things behind her back?
Jiyu raised his eyebrows in disdain as he saw the men through the corner of his eye. He kept his head down drinking liquor solemnly. Gong Ju propped his chin as if waiting for something interesting but he was destined to be disappointed. It seemed his friend's interest in the woman was nothing more than just like seeing a new brand coming.
Gong Ju didn't know if he should pity that woman or not.
Feeling unsatisfied after being ignored, Gong Jun added, "Well I didn't expect her past would be that interesting. I wonder what she's been through that they dare to insult her which is enough to destroy her reputation in an instant. What a poor girl."
Jiyu narrowed his eyes and continued to stare at the glass filled with clear liquid with a disdainful smile.
"You're right. She's pathetic."
••
Wow, Kang Cheol, don't speak so hypocritically. See how you end up sleeping with her."
When Kang Cheol heard his friend say that, he reflexively licked his lips.
"That Song Gin, when I push her down, let's see if she's still the same Song Gin she used to be."
Not until they burst into laughter at the dirty joke, suddenly he was pulled up from his chair and was hit by a fist until his ass touched the floor. For a while, the man's sight was dark because the blow was so painful.
Too late to respond to what was going on, the other friends were back to their senses. In front of them, there was a tall man wearing a semi-coat looking at his friend who was coughing on the ground with a calm look, but the calmness was surely like the silence before the storm happened.
"What are you doing? Suddenly beat up my friend."
The man then turned his face to them and how surprised they were to see that cold snake-like gaze staring at them. Before they could hurl nonsense again, they were the next to be beaten to death by the man.
Jun-woo beat the people until their face was all swollen. People could quite tell that he was furious from the way he beat them mercilessly.
"Say again what you said earlier."
"Who do you mean? Shit, don't say you refer to damn Song Gin. Ha. Ha. Is that damn woman your girlfriend? Man, why are you so pitiful to have a girl like her?"
Bug.
"Say it again."
The man seemed to enjoy how Junwoo's face seemed to want to kill him. He kept on spouting, "That stupid woman is just a crazy girl. You'd better leave her as soon as possible."
bug. bug. bug. bug. bug.
The man was beaten almost to death. Unable to bear to see his bar going to be destroyed, the manager had to step in stopping them. Several bodyguards held Jun-woo but did not dare to act rudely with him. Jun-woo who had been calmed down slightly let go of the bodyguard's grip arrogantly.
Jun-woo looked down arrogantly at the men as if he saw the corpses. Remembering the evil words they said towards Gin made Jun-woo grit his teeth. When he thought he didn't know what other things they had said other than what he had heard, he couldn't help but become furious again.
While belittling the bar manager, Jun-woo snorted leaving the place.
Some people whispered in surprise at this turn of events. Not knowing where the man came from and suddenly dealt a blow to the group of men. A bit of a guess, the men were probably talking bad things about a woman he knew. Some of the girls whispered in amazed at how handsome the guy was just now and became curious as to who was the lucky woman who had a boyfriend as good as him.
The bar manager was angry. He wished he could hack these idiots. The manager then had one of his servants call an ambulance and ordered his bodyguards to throw these thugs out. Then he noted these people carefully in his mind not to let them come to his bar again.
Luckily he was alert, otherwise, he wouldn't be good at explaining this situation to a certain person if the young master killed them.
