Hybrids were killed by warriors called Guardians, who have protected us since the Oblivion event. Shin Celestino, the protagonist, was raised by an assassination clan called Umbronite Clan. Shin and his mother were killed by a Hybrid, and the Hybrid abducted his sister. Shin managed to escape death and was later adopted by the Clan Master. Now at the age of 15 Shin was taken by the Frostbite agency to kill the Hybrids and uncover the secrets of the Oblivion event to save her sister. But it's hard to fit in the Guardian system because of his assassin natures.
