The fact that they had joined together in body and soul made Blair immensely elated. She might even say that it was going to be the most memorable part of her life for many years to come. It was an experience beyond comparison.
However, it didn't solve her predicament. She could still lose Lucien. His wounds were still there and were getting worse and worse as time passed.
That could only mean one thing for Blair. She was not done yet. If she were to keep her current happiness, she would need to find a different way to save her love.
However, she had just used up the final method she knew of. She had anticipated his bite, and worst case scenario, even dying as a result of blood loss. Yet, it never happened.
