Lucien landed warily at the castle's front door with Blair in his arms. They both had that broad and satisfying smile on their faces. Blair took a deep relieved breath as she let go of Lucien.
“That feels good, doesn’t it?” Lucien asked, an image of blissfulness painted on his face.
“Yeah. It feels good being up there in the air while I’m in your arms. I was worried that I might not feel that again,” Blair said as she stepped towards the front door.
Lucien caught his pace and grabbed her hands as he walked beside her, going inside the castle. He glanced at her and pinched her jaw with his folded pointer and middle finger with his free hand.
Blair defensively pulled herself away as she was caught by surprise.
However, she started to relax the moment she realized that Lucien was just trying to touch her face. It made Blair flustered, turning her skin to crimson as she stayed still frozen.
She didn’t know why, but even just a little touch from Lucien felt like magic to her.
