The bubbles sprinkled as Lucien pulled the cork out of the bottle mouth. That made Blair yell with a guffaw as the sprinkles touched her skin. She looked so funny and silly as she screamed happily like a kid.
She was truly happy, and Lucien could see it. The free spirit that Blair had made her more attractive to Lucien’s eyes, and he couldn’t stop but stare at her.
But then, Blair noticed Lucien staring at her, and it made her feel conscious of how she looked. Worry suddenly hit her, and she felt like she needed to behave instantly. She didn’t want Lucien to think of her as a kid.
Blair suddenly stopped laughing and went serious.
Lucien noticed Blair's sudden change of action, but he was aware of the reason. He poured wine into a glass and sat beside her.
“Do you want to drink?” he asked, leaning back to the other end of the couch while sipping on the wine.
