" I want you to stay calm with Kein so that your father can stop disturbing me about him, you know that you are the only one that can put all these to its end, as you know, the school will be resuming next week and both of you will be studying in the same school and grade, so I want you to be nice towards him, teaching him what he needs to know about your school, how the school works and subjects taught, can you do this for me ?" she asked with a pleading tune
" Are you done? , mom, you know me very well and you know that what you are asking of me cannot be done " she said and covered her body with a bed cover, pretending to sleep. Nora signed and stood up to leave but remembered something, she turned around and looked at Nora for a long time

" as a mother, I have to train my kid to be a responsible child, I didn't want you to get lost, so can you stop crying now and become a woman you have already become" she consoled her while cleaning her tears with the back of her hand making Nora to stopped crying and went back to bed
" I will consider what you said but right now I need to rest, so mom, can you please close the door on your way out, " Nora said while closing her eyes. Laura stood to leave but stopped at the door
" don't forget your promise," she said and closed the door. Laura waited in the corridor for some time before deciding to go see Kein. Kein was wide awake in his bed and looking at his ceiling when the door was opened without a knock, he jumped out of his bed and stretched out his hands towards the intruder but wasn't making use of his power. Kein has been staying alert at night because of his continuous nightmares that won't stop coming and also, he was scared that scavengers might attack him at night when he is still at sleep.
" hey calm down's me, what is so scared of " Laura exclaimed seeing how alerted Kein was
" oh sorry, I was having a nightmare before you came in " Kein explained, going back to his bed and Laura followed behind
" Kein is there anything troubling you, please you are free to say it out," she said and sat on the bed
" no, am comfortable but thank you for asking "
" but I didn't see that, apart from you being an alien and having golden hair, is there anything else you are not telling me ? " she asked, being worried about kein's sleepless nights
" no, I don't think I have, but when am ready, I will tell you everything but for now, I think am okay "
" Okay then, but remember that no matter how hard you tried to hide things, one day it must surely be revealed," she said and stood up to back to her room " I will be taking you to a salon tomorrow to dye your hair cause I won't allow you to be known with evil with your strange hair," she said and left, leaving Kein, who was busy contemplating whether to tell Laura the truth or not
