The lesson was just getting started when they entered, immediately they stepped into the classroom, everyone was stunned at the sight of Kein, even the teacher herself
" Are you a new student ? " the teacher asked kein with curiosity
" yes"
" Could you like to introduce yourself to us " the chemistry teacher suggested, immediately the teacher suggested that Nora quickly excused herself and went to take her seat beside the window
" no problem," he said and turned towards the class " hello everyone, my name is Kein, am new here and I could like everyone to cooperate with me and so as for me to also cooperate with you all, thank you " immediately he ended his speech, there was an eruption of murmurs and whispers
" What sort of name is that !! ? " one of the boys shouted at the back
" I think he is Chinese " one of the female students mentioned
" no, I think he is Japanese "
" no, I don't think he is either of them " another added to their whispering conversation
" be quiet, everyone !! " the teacher yelled, and everywhere became silent again " you are welcome gentleman, you can have your seat over there" she gestured to him towards an empty seat in-between a boy and a girl, he bowed his head slightly before going to his seat because he was taught in his planet that whenever someone is done with his or her speech, he should show some respect to the audience by bowing his head. the teacher gave him a flirtatiously smile as he went over to his seat
" is that supposed to be a fucking show off !" a black boy with an afro haircut at the back of the class shouted making the whole class burst into laughter but Kein waved off the taunting remark and gently sat on his seat. when he sat down, he, first of all, looked at the boy at his right, then the girl at his left, and his eyes got stocked on her. there was something eye-catching about the girl, first of all, her blonde hair which has been cut recently to her shoulder level, and then, her wounded face which was healing but hadn't healed completely. kein was still looking at the girl when the boy at his right gently tapped him on his shoulder making him turn his gaze towards the boy
" you can only admire but don't come close coz she is a no-no" the boy warned him but kein didn't understand what the boy meant by that comment
" And why is that ?" Kein asked with furrowed brows
" Because she is crazy and she came out of the rehab last week" he explained but Kein crinkled his face, not understanding anything the boy was saying
" what's rehab? " Kein asked in his head " maybe I could make a difference" Kein declared
" Okay, good luck with that," the boy said sarcastically
" hello" Kein waved to the girl " am Kein," he said while stretching out his hands for a handshake
" not interested so back off," the girl said dismissively but Kein persisted
" but I haven't said anything yet" he insisted but the girl ignored him, instead she gently stood up from her seat and went to sit at the center of the class
" Kelly is there any problem ?" the teacher asked noticing the commotion at the back of the class
" no, there's no problem, just taking a seat over here" the girl replied while gesturing to a timid boy with her head to stand up from where he was sitting and the boy quickly carried all his books and went to sit on her seat near Kein while she sat on his own, away from kein.
" Such a badass" the boy near Kein commented after watching the girl's movement
" Such a crazy girl" Nora sneered from where she was sitting and the teacher continued the lesson
" by the way, my name is Henry" the boy declared while bringing out his hands for a handshake and Kein shook him back " am Kein"
" Are you Chinese ?"
" no" Kein replied shortly and they concentrated back on the lesson going on.
During the free period, three girls walked up to Nora, one taller than the others, the tall one wore a short gown while the other was wearing a high waist trouser and a Chanel long sleeve which she tied the edge of the sleeve around her Tommy thereby showing half of her tummy, the last one wore a half cut singlet and a crazy short jean
" Hello Nora " the tall one greeted
" long time no see" the Chanel sleeve girl phrased, but the last one went and sat near Nora, she went straight to the point
" you didn't tell me you got a new boyfriend"
" and he so handsome " the Chanel sleeve girl added
" why are you this lucky? , whenever you dump your boyfriend, you always come across a better one " the one that wore a singlet noted with a poker face
" Mira, he is not her boyfriend, haven't you girls heard ? " the tall one asked and the other two looked at each other
" heard what ?" they both asked in a chorus
" that Nora's mom adopted a new kid to be her brother " the tall one announced making Nora to stood up angrily " he is not my ...ugh " she shrugged with a clenched fist and storm off
" what's wrong with her ? " the tall one asked and the other two raised their hands and shoulders.

it was the last bell of the day, and without waiting for the bell to stop, the girl quickly gathered her books and left the class. Kein seeing that the girl left the class before everyone else quickly followed her by stinking to the walls and silencing his steps. the girl noticing that someone was following her quickened her steps and entered the changing room for athletes and hide behind the lockers. when Kein entered, he saw no sign of the girl so he turned back and was about to leave when a hand grabbed him by the collar, lifting his legs off the ground before forcefully hitting his back at the metal locker behind him and holding him tight on his throat, choking him
well, that fucking hurt.
" Listen here pretty boy, if you ever were to stalk me again, you won't like what will happen to you" she warned and dropped him, he rubbed his reddened neck immediately after he was released from the girl's hold
" I hate stalkers" she muttered before leaving the room.
well is that supposed to be normal for a girl's strength?
" This is getting more interesting" Kein murmured with a smirk " let's see what you got"
