A peaceful Sunday night on the other side of the earth which was shyly hiding away from the radiant Sun and facing the murky yet beautiful space of million stars....
Some citizens were already back to their dwellings after a long day of work and work. Some might still be stuck in traffic while others in their offices with unfinished assignments and projects to do overnight.
Some should be in deep slumbers already. But, some might stay up all night for the sake of stargazing beautiful meteor showers.
It was just another normal night, or maybe another normal evening on that side of the earth. At least, no body was expecting a sudden catastrophe to befall their home planet.
By then, nobody had prepared for the end of their planet...the ending of the kind of earth we had known all along...
Stargazing astronomers and citizens of that night should be ones who secured front row tickets to the show of their beloved planet's apocalypse.
That night, stargazers witnessed a sudden astonishingly beautiful meteor shower even before the time had come for radiant point of meteors to be highest in their local sky.
Though many stargazers quickly realized things were awefully going south, some idiots still believed that they were witnessing double meteor showers till the last minute.
Up until a second ago, those blazing asteroids were never in solar system, let alone in the way of the earth's orbit. As if from another dimension, they just appeared in the space out of nowhere. And, in the next second,

Say goodbye to our blue planet.
The earth was now completely doomed.
What it took was only a couple of seconds for an uninvited cataclysm to land on our earth.
One after another, hundreds of fire balls mercilessly hit the earth, taking away thousands of citizens' lives in an instant.
A blessing in disguise was most asteroids that made impact with the earth only had 5-15 feet in diameter when they landed.
Although several thousands died and millions were gravely injured, humanity still managed to survive..... No.....it was still too early to use the word 'survive' though.
After all, this was just the beginning. The survived mankind still needed to confront disastrous consequences of this cataclysmic event.
The explosion of asteroids raised a huge amount of ash, dust and particles into the atmosphere which ended up blocking out the sun light from the planet surface for a few years.
When the temperature suddenly decreased to a critical level, many citizens who survived disaster of meteors, lost their lives here.
Plants and crops withered and couldn't grow anymore since photosynthesis was impossible without sunlight. And, this ignited a problem in the food chain yet again.
One might think citizens from another side of the world were lucky dogs. After all, no meteor hit or landed on that side. Unfortunately, they didn't get to become real lucky dogs even though they sure as hell fervently prayed to be ones.
Shockwaves from meteroid explosions triggered earthquakes, followed by volcano eruptions and tsunamis. And, those nations which didn't go through cataclysmic incident of meteroids, still had to suffer these natural consequences in the end.
Due to volcano gases, several acid rains poured which polluted the earth's oceans as well as underground water. As the earth rotated, fragments of blazing asteroids ignited wild fires on the entire planet.
As if these natural disasters weren't enough, humanity came across another yet frightening incident.
Survived animals of the earth suddenly evolved into monsterous beasts. Strange looking evil monsters like elves, goblins and others appeared on mother planet out of nowhere, killing and devouring mankind into absolute doom.
Only after some years later did humanity find out these supernatural life forms came to their earth along with burning asteroids.
The only good news after these series of disasters was that, not long after the appearance of these evil creatures and evolved beasts, some human beings also started gaining awakened abilities.
These rare evolved human beings were called 'Ability users' by global citizens.
Maybe, the evolution of ability users was for the better after all. Just because of them, the earth didn't get to suffer too long from the Nature's disastrous consequences.
With the help of awakened ability users, mankind managed to control all the disasters on earth just in a few years.
Rehabilitation process commenced in both rural and urban areas of all the nations. But, this time, humanity had no choice but to share their territory on earth with evil monsters whose origins were absolutely unknown.
From now on, these ability users were the only hope of mankind to continue to survive on this planet. If only there weren't these heroes to protect them, all those monsters and evolved animals could terminate humanity from the surface of the earth at any time.
Every nation established their own Association of ability users. But, instead of working for the association, some most powerful ability users of all founded their own guilds, creating fame, money and authority for themselves.
The Earth had eventually come back to life once again, thanks to ability users. But, it was not the same earth we had known all along. There was magic. There were these heroes of people called 'Ability Users'. And, there were also monsters.
The laws had changed. The order of the earth's food chain had changed. A new 22nd century had arrived. And, this was a new era where the strong ruled the weak...
