Zero instantly swiped out, willing the whip to come out of his pinky. As his finger cut Infront of him, the whip materialized and snapped out. The Goblin was sent flying to the side of the room, crashing into and through the window. Zero could hear screaming echoing through the window, before it went silent. 'The whip was more of a shove then a cut. That confirms it gets duller the longer its active.'
Zero wished he could have killed the Goblin somewhere he could grab the soul, however he knew there was no use crying over it. Zero quickly checked the girls body, finding she had no other weapons. 'She was way to sure of her ability.' Zero stood and started making his way through the rest of the hospital rooms while always making sure his ring finger was stretched out and ready.
Although Zero felt bad, he wasn't going to take the chance of trusting anything before he had enough souls for his ultimate to activate. The first thing he realized, was that there was no survivors in any of the rooms, leading Zero to believe the girl had killed the remaining. As Zero started moved forward and made it into a new area, he slowed his pace and doubled his focus.
Zero was both relieved as well as disappointed that he hadn't found any more Goblins. He quickly made it to the desk area which was next to the elevators, which marked a definite previously unexplored area for Zero. 'I don't like being in unknown territory without souls to activate my ultimate.' He wondered for a split moment if he should do what the girl had been doing and simply lure more of the monsters to him.
As quick as the thought had appeared, he instantly threw it away. 'I have to go make sure Grandma is safe. The longer I wait, the more likely she is dead. Window, is there a way to get into contact with other survivors?'

The Host can buy items that allow them to communicate with other Hosts from the shop
Zero grumbled to himself in anger. 'From the shop which I am unable to access at this point in time!' Without a second thought, Zero walked towards the elevator doors and clicked the button. Zero knew they wouldn't work, just as his phone hadn't, however he was still holding out hope. When the button didn't yield any reaction, he turned and headed for the stairs.
Zero slowly opened the stairs service door, prepared to find a sea of Goblins waiting for him. To his relief, they seemed to be empty. Zero quickly slipped in and slowly closed the door behind him, making sure to not let it create loud noise. Once the door was closed, he started making his way down the stairs. Through what Zero guessed was pure luck, he made it the door that said floor 1 without any issues.
Zero looked through the small window in the door, looking for anything that wasn't human. When he didn't find anything, he opened the door and once more slipped through it. Zero spotted the exit, and was about to race towards it when there was a loud huff from the exits direction. Zero instantly dived for cover behind what he guessed was the reception desk. "GLEGUK!" Zero covered his ears as a louder version of the Goblins single spoken word thundered through the entire floor.
Zero hunkered down as multiple panes of glass shattered. When the echo finally died down, Zero chanced a look. As Zero slowly brought his eyes over the countertop, he was met with two large eyes, the size of his head staring back at him from point blank range. Zero jumped to his feet and quickly backed up as what Zero could only describe as a giant version of the Goblin threw the desk to the side.
The giant Goblin had large double the height of Zero, and had to do a weird version of a crawl to fit through the floor. The first thing Zero noticed about it was that two of its bottom teeth were so large they came up to the top of there upper lip.
Zero didn't feel like his whip would do anything, so he raised both his hands and was about to will the Death Beam to fire, when the Large Goblin spung out and slammed its hand into Zero. Zero went flying before crashing into a door. Zero noticed a window appear, however he didn't attempted to read it as he noticed the monster was crawling towards him, and its mouth was watering.
Zero pulled himself from the door. He knew at least a couple of bones were broken, however he didn't have the time to care. 'I cant die now!' Zero raised his hands and waited for the monster to come closer. Just before the monster was within reaching distance to him, Zero willed the Death Beam to activate through his whole hands.
Zero felt the familiar burn as the ten foot beam came exploding out of his hands. Zero's vision of the beast was obscured by the beam, however he didn't want to stick around incase it didn't work on it. Zero waited for the beam to die down before he started backing up. Just before he could make it two steps, the beam disappeared, showing him what was Infront of him.
Zero looked on in shock as there was only chunks of the monster left, and there was now a ten foot circle through the front of the building, exposing the street outside.
