Zero watched as more souls then he could count came out of the remaining chunks of its body before they all started merging together. Zero expected them to become a bit darker, however something unexpected happened instead. As the souls continued to come together, they started to form what Zero could only describe as a human figure. 'Window, what is happening?'
-Notice-
When there are less then ten souls in an area, the individual souls will slowly travel back to were they taken. If ten souls or more are in a single area, they will come together to start there transition to a shade. If more then 400 souls are collected in one space, they will come together and start creating there Shade body.
Seeing as the window didn't tell him the most important information, Zero asked another question. 'What is a shade?'
-Notice-
A Shade is a collection of souls that passes the 400 mark. Once the mark has been passed, the souls will become to dense to float, and will instead walk the earth. A Shade will take on the form of its souls race. the more souls added to the Shade, the more dense the Shade will become. Please note that hosts simply have to make contact with a soul or Shade to absorb the souls for themselves.
Zero slowly nodded as he reached out and touched the partial human figure. It sort of weirded Zero out as the Shade was walking around the floor, only it was missing an entire leg and the rest of its body had holes everywhere. Once Zero's hand made contact with the shade, it instantly wrapped up and crawled down his hand before plunging into his chest.

Zero was a bit annoyed that it kept bringing up the windows every time he acquired souls. 'Window, can you only show me urgent messages and new information?'
-Notice-
Host has set the windows to only show urgent messages and new information unless the host wills it. All windows will also be muted while in combat.
Zero sighed in relief, before looking at the messages. '456?! I have enough to activate my Ultimate, however my arms are completely shot.' Zero knew the windows could understand his questions, so he spoke to them. 'Window, how many souls are needed to finish the regeneration of all my damaged Mana channels?'
-Notice-
Assessing... Assessing...
-Notice-
2 arms, 10 fingers were found to have broken Mana channels. With the hosts current souls, the time until all of the broken channels will be healed can be brought from <48> hours to <43> hours and <17> minutes.
'So over 460 souls only subtracts 10% off the cost, harsh. That would mean I would need to spend around 4,600 souls to simply fix my arms.' Zero sighed before willing the window closed. He knew he would be pointless to try and travel with no weapon, and his arms in this weakened state, so he found a room to wait the 48 hours.
Zero made his way to the family waiting room were he knew there would be vending machines. When he finally found the waiting room, he cursed, finding the vending machines had been broken into. Zero quicky checked both the snack machine, as well as the drink one. To his relief, he found a bottle of water that had been stuck on the top shelf, and a half opened bag of pretzels. Zero stood with the two items in his hoodie pockets, as his hands had trouble holding both.
'Its feels like when you aren't able to move your ankle after doing sprinting after not doing exercise for a bit.' Zero wouldn't say was fit by any means, if anything he would say he was weaker then those in his own grade. Although he didn't work out, he had a high metabolism, which allowed him to keep his "Twig" Figure. The only down side was that he had to constantly eat.
As Zero was hunkering down in the copier room behind the front desk, he suddenly heard voices. "I'm telling you, the Ogre is dead!" The first voice he heard was a higher pitched males voice. "I don't know..." The second was another males. "I told you! I can see the monsters on my map. The blip vanished while we were on our way here." "Shut it you two. We came for medical supplies, start looking." The last to speak was a women's voice. Zero didn't trust anything right now, but he knew they would find him sooner or later.
Zero sighed before standing from his position and stepping into the doorway as he spoke. "I know were the medicine is." Zero was greeted by ten people, 8 of which were holding assault rifles and were pointing them at Zero. Zero instantly noticed that a woman and a man each didn't carry any weapon but were still laser focused on him. 'They most likely have an ability.' The girl that had shut the two up early was the first to speak.
"State your name, and why you were eavesdropping!" Zero looked at the woman, finding a muscular figure that stood taller then Zero. "I wasn't trying to eavesdrop, I was only hiding from the monsters!" The girl looked at Zero with open skepticism before speaking. "What happened to the Ogre that was here not twenty minutes before?" Zero feigned ignorance, as he didn't want them knowing he had all those souls. "Ogre's are fantasy. there not real."
The woman seemed to become less suspicious of Zero as he said that, until a man from behind spoke into her ear. The woman's face instantly morphed into a smile as she once more raised her gun. "You have no idea what happened to the beast?" Zero shook his head. "I don't, I swear!" The girl spoke through a smile as her finger slightly tightened on the trigger. "The 474 souls you possess speaks against you."
