After a short while, the door burst open without warning and a group of three men entered. Once again the room went silent as everyone's attention was brought to these three men but this time a gasp followed as Jack recognized the tallest man of the three. It's was Morbent Fel, the leader of Snake Hands. The snake hands was a well known criminal organisation, it was like a mafia but less organised. This group were famous for their cruel fighting skill and their skill to avoid being caught, mostly because no wanted to get in their way so they let them go. Morbent Fel wasn't the leader because the other chose him to be, he was the leader because he killed the previous one with his own hands.
He was a broad man; he was obviously strong due to the fact that he had huge muscles that seemed to want to break through his clothes. Morbent wasn't particular a good looking man but he wasn't unattractive either, his short spiky blond hair didn't help his looks either. He really didn't look that frightening, just looked like he was a hard working man. His eyes were the real thing that brought terror to his victims; they were blue but not a nice blue. It was a sickly light blue, which made it feel that he was looking right through you and that he could see your right into your soul. Morbent was a master with magic; he always loved to watch as his victims slowly died in pain. His only weapon apart from magic was his own hands; he had master and created his own fighting stance.
The two men that stood behind him were Morbent's two favourite henchmen, on his left was the one know as Viper. He was a very thin and short man that had a long thing face and light green eyes which obviously gives the reason why he was named Viper, he had no hair on his head which looked like his scalpe been polished. Viper had a strange fetish for Samurai swords and was known for having such a large collection of them, not only did he collect them he also used them to kill his prey. One of his favourite blades was named after him; the Viperic was hung on this belt around his waist. It was just as much feared as Viper himself was, this was because the blade was dipped in poison to make sure that if the wound that it caused didn't kill the victim the poison would.
The man to the right or Morbent was a short fat man, who was known just as Al. He was probably one of the oldest members of the Snake hands or probably just the only one with grey hair and wrinkles. He had no real special fighting talent; he was just the expert on information gathering and distribution. His own blue eyes watched everyone around the room and then looked at the floor; it was obvious he didn't want to be here.
A nasty cruel smile appeared on Morbent's Face as he walked to the bar, where the now shaking and terrified Jack stood. By the time Morbent made his way to the bar, the place was nearly emptied. The customers had either disappeared upstairs to their room or had run out of the door, the place was now silent. Morbent was still smiling as he leant over the bar and got very close to Jack, who hadn't moved because of the fear that was holding him in place.
"Good Evening, Jack" Morbent said as his smile turning into a grin.
"M…m…mm….Mor…Morbent"Jack replied stuttering.
"Al says that you have information about the bank raid that occurred last week, I want you to tell me who was involved because whoever it was ruined my plans and I want payback. So.... your going to tell me, aren't you?" Morbent said holding Jack by the collar.
"Boss" interrupted Viper from behind him. Morbent let go of Jack and turned to see what Viper wanted and saw that he was nodding to the hooded stranger in the corner. Jack's legs had finally gave up and he collapsed on his knees still shaking with fear but slightly relieved, although he felt sorry for what was going to happen to the stranger.
"Looks like we got someone who isn't afraid, Boss" Hissed Viper.
"Yes, I see" He said quietly to himself before walking over to the table. He picked up the full glass of Ale and downed it all, he then threw the glass at the wall and it smashed into pieces.
"I would have run away if I was you but obviously you have no idea who I am. I am Morbent Fel, the leader of the Snake Hands and master of magic. All who hear my name should fear and knee before me. Now you have once last chance to leave or feel my wrath!" Morbent announced hoping that the stranger would be scared and leave quickly but he looked at the hooded one and there was no sign that the stranger had paid any attention. Now Morbent was getting annoyed.
"You're going to regret not leaving when you had the chance"Morbent growled he then clicked his fingers.
"Viper, Punish him" He commanded.
Viper grinned happily and drew Viperic.
"My Pleasure, Boss" He hissed with pleasure.
"I'm going to slice you up into so many tiny pieces that it will take years to put you back together" Viper hissed as he walked forward a few spaces, then suddenly he charged at the Stranger. He brought the sword above his head and slashed in mid air sending a large energy wave towards the stranger, there was a large crash. The Energy wave disturbed a lot of dust so it was uncertain what happened, when the dust finally settled the result was the table and chair had been sliced in two. There was no sign of the stranger, all three men looked around and spotted the stranger standing on another table on the other side of the room.
"Why, You?" Hissed Viper angrily. He then slashed at the air again and sent another energy wave towards the stranger. Yet again the Stranger appeared behind them unscarred, Viper was now losing his patience. This time he charged at the Stranger and brought his blade up for a chest strike, the hooded one didn't move this time. Just as Viper thought he was going to strike, there was huge amount of sparks as the Viperic had come into contact with another sword. It was the shape of a longsword sword but the metal looked like pure silver, the hilt of the sword was covered in the rare black metal "mythril". Embedded into the black metal hilt were very strange looking jewels, around the jewels was strange carvings which were also repeated along the blade.
Viper let out a angry hiss as he pushed down on the blade with all his strength but he was failing at making the blade move, the stranger looked it was no effort at all to hold Viper of. The suddenly the stranger pushed down on the sword with incredible strength and without warning cut straight through Viperic, like a butter knife cutting through warm butter. The sword didn't not stop there, it kept going and sliced through Viper's arm nearly taking it clean off but the stranger pulled the sword back, Viper screamed in pain and fell to the floor grasping on to excessively bleeding arm.
Morbent couldn't believe what just happen, Viper's sword was sliced into and the stranger nearly took his arm off. Al had rushed to his companion's aid and pulled him to safety from the Stranger and was seeing to his wounds, viper was still screaming.
The hooded one had wiped its own sword with a cloth it picked of the table, the sword then disappeared within the cloak. Morbent was now furious but also scared; he didn't want to face this person after seeing what they could do. Simply, he faced the stranger and stared at them with his scary eyes.
"You will regret doing this; I will get revenge but not tonight. I demand you to remove your hood so I can stare into the face of which I will kill with my own hands, I will remember your face and hunt you down." Morbent said growling. He knew that the stranger wouldn't abide but it was worth a shot. To his amazement the stranger lifted its hand to its hood and pulled it back, he couldn't believe what he saw.
