I ran as fast as I could to get to school on time because, of course, I missed my ride. That only meant that I had to use my four paws to get m e to my destination.
I did manage to take my clothes off and put them in my book bag before I morphed into my wolf. I didn't have much time to relish in the moment of feeling free
and taking in the beauty of nature.
No. I had to get to Howlen Heights High before the bell rang or I'd be spending my last day here in detention.
As soon as I seen the school, I dropped my bag from my mouth, quickly morphed back into my human self and changed as fast as I could.
I was so busy fidgeting with my clothes that I didn't notice that someone was behind me until...they pushed me hard as hell on my back.
I caught myself before my face landed headfirst into the grassy ground.
I heard a laugh that instantly made the hairs on my neck stand up.
"Oh, my bad breeder bitch, I didn't care to see you there." Tia smugly stated as she placed her foot on the back of my neck.
She placed her foot there to make sure that I couldn't get up even if I wanted to.
I knew that if I attempted to stand, she would take it as a challenge, and I knew better than to challenge her... especially since she will be our pack's future Luna.
I stayed quiet and prayed that she'd go away soon.
"You know, I should probably be a little nicer to you, being that you're going to have my child one day soon."
I rolled my eyes without her noticing and held in my breath. Like hell I was.
"Tia, you don't need a pathetic breeder having a future baby alpha. Your body is perfectly capable to carry a cub." I heard her friend Gabby insist.
"True. But why would I risk having a cub and it damage my figure? I can just have her do it and it still be mine! She'll do her job and I'll get my baby and keep my figure." She stated casually. "I call that a win."
She took her foot off of my neck, but I remained quiet and still.
"Get up! And don't you dare run and tell Chance what I said." She kneeled down so that she was face-to-face with me. "If you do, I'll rip your fucking tongue out of your mouth. I promise you that."
I could feel my anger brewing and I was trying everything in my power to calm myself down. I didn't want to start a fight with her. Not today.
But, me being me, I made the mistake of looking her in her eyes and I guess she saw the fire burning inside of them.
Her eyes held a bit of shock in them, but she covered it up quickly. And just as I thought she was about to leave, she cocked back and spit out a huge glob of gunk onto my face.
After she was satisfied with her work, she stood up, grabbed Gabby and walked away from and towards the school.
I was livid! I have never liked that bitch and although we have had numerous altercations, she has never done no shit like this!
My wolf was stirring and begging to be let loose, but I couldn't do it. I knew she meant the world to Chance being that she was his mate and there was nothing that I could do about it.
I reached inside my bag and pulled out a Kleenex to clean off my face.
