Gordon was enjoying as the wind blew his black fur. He breathed the cool woody air he continued running until he came to the lake that he liked.
He drank the water, and he went inside the water until he was soaked to the bone and he came from the water, and he shook it off his far, and he lay on the rocks that formed the cliff he let the sun rays dry him as he enjoyed the warmth.
"Darrell, don't you think this is quite calming out here? I always hate the packhouse a lot of noise and father with his dramas with mother," Gordon said to his human, who laughed as he remembered when his mother had forced his father to wear makeup and high heels.
His father also walks around the royal wing on them. Isabella had laughed so hard until she got hiccups, and she did not stop until Katherine tried to get her floor as she held her stomach, but Katherine was not in a better situation than him. Clive had been a force to lift the floor.
Immediately he remembered Katherine, his mood changed, and he went back to his sad mood.
Gordon tried to think of something that would make him not think of Katherine, but he could not come up with anything.
"It would have been more relaxing if Katherine would be here with me," Darrell said, and Gordon nodded his head in agreement.
What if you talked to her parent about the prophecy? Maybe they would try to convince her for you that you need to be together." Gordon suggested.
"I don't think they will want to help us with all the torture my father is giving them, and also, her mother rejected my father, so I don't expect more out of her," Darrell told his wolf.
"But it does not hurt to try, and this situation is different from your father's. At least you have a reason you want to be mates with their daughter, and your reason is benefiting their world, so maybe they will have a soft spot for you." Gordon continued to insist that he should go see her parent.
After arguing with him for a long he agreed, and he went back to the packhouse to talk with her parents.
ARAWN CLAN.
Cyrene also was in deep thought. She did not want to admit that she was regretting that she had attacked his mate. She had felt a pang of jealousy when he talked about his mate.
She felt sorry that she had caused him the death of his mate and his twin.
After they arrived at the place, she dismissed everyone to go back to the work they were doing.
After she was left, she decided to confront him about why he was behaving possessively with her.
His behavior was disturbing because Cyrene has always seen him as a friend, and now he was acting like he had become her boyfriend. What shocked her the most was what he said?
"I have been in love with you from the time you spent a night in my place after the initiation night. From that night, I have been pushing away anyone who tries to flirt with you. I know what you are going to say that you don't have a feeling for that, but I am begging you to please give us a chance." Noel begged her as he moved close to her and took one of her hands into his.
She pulls her hand away quickly, not believing what her second in command had just said.
"Noel, you can't have feelings for me. You know that I won't love you the way you want. You can't do this to me. You have been the big brother I never had the best friend one would ever ask for, but I won't lose you by giving us a chance. You know very well that I don't believe in love." Cyrene tried to explain to him, but he was not having any of that.
"So you are going to give a chance to a werewolf and not one of you kind." Noel continued to push her button, but this time he pushed the wrong one because she slapped him really hard.
But instead of backing down, she wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her to his chest, and kissed her, putting into the kiss all the passion he felt her.
She was now very mad that he had violated her. She kicked him where the sun did not shine, and he fell on the ground groaning in pain.
