Chapter 37 - Next Action

The other elders were shaken by the prophecy. They also could not understand what kind of huntress that was. They always thought that they were the only ones that had magic, and now it seemed that the people that hunted them also had magic.

"How are we going to deal with that?" Gillian asked the elders

"We have to look for a spell that will stop her from using her powers." Gilbert, an elder from the ladybird coven, suggested.

All the attention was then directed to the door that loudly opened to reveal an old woman who Gillian remembered from the burial night of her sister.

"Her powers have not been activated yet. That's what I discovered," Nina informed everyone as she walked into the room of the meeting.

Everyone's attention was on her. She sat on one of the chairs that were empty.

After she had sat down, everyone was still looking at her with eyes telling her to explain how she had discovered that the huntress power had not been activated.

"Okay, you got me. I took her away from the war between them and the werewolves and the vampires she was almost killing alpha of the blood moon pack." She was cut short by a very angry Gillian.

"Why did you tell me not to go to the war, and you went yourself! Now the werewolves will never help us because they think that we betrayed them they would be of great help, especially that we are planning to go on war against the vampires." Gillian said as she felt that the witch had cost her a chance with the werewolves.

Nina sat there and listened as Gillian complained after she was through. She went on to explain the rest of the prophecy.

"There was a part of the prophecy that I did not tell you. There is going to be a doom that will befall all the supernatural, and the only way we are going to conquer it is for Cyrene and Darrell to fight together, and that's why they are mates to each other and the reason that I went there it's because that by the end of the war on of them would kill the other, and if either of them kills the other, then they also die. They have been linked together." Nina explained the whole of the prophecy.

After she had finished, everyone in the room was silent. They did not know what to say all do.

"Maybe we shall just discuss the matter about the vampires, then we shall come back to that later on," Gillian suggested seeing that there was no one who was going to comment anything about the prophecy.

They are agreed upon immediately.

"As you all know or may have heard, my sister, who was you, leader, was killed by the vampires, and me as her sister and the new leader of the coven, I suggest that we fight for her justice. What do you think?" Gillian asked them.

"Did the vampire say why they had attacked?" Nina asked

"They came after us when we were through with the conference that the werewolves had called for. Melvyn said that our witch had attacked his vampire. At that time, neither of us knew what he was talking about. That's when Ursula explained to him that his vampire was attacked when in our territory and that the witch who attacked him was just trying to save her son. Then out of nowhere, Reece jumped on my sister feed on her before finally snapping her head." Gillian sadly explained to the council of elders.

"Did you consult the victim?" Nina continued to pressure her.

"Yes, after the burial, I asked you to come to my office and explain what happened. If you keen enough, then you must have noticed a lady coming out of my office when you came to report about the prophecy. With all due respect, I find your question disturbing. Do you know something that I don't? If you do, please inform us." Gillian told Nina as she tried to hide her anger from the old lady but was failing miserably.

"As one of the only witches that were present during the war that made the vampires and us not see eye to eye, I witnessed a lot of bloodsheds, and we lost a lot of talented witches, and I do not want to see that happen again. That's why I am trying to find a reason not to go to war again." Gillian explained her behavior.

Freya, who was becoming bored with the argument, decided to project her thoughts.
