After a week since I went to the vampire's world, I went to check out where the legend came from. So Bradley and went to Transylvania, We took a long train ride there and took our time talking about my new book. I had been to this country before but did not have the confirmation of their being vampires in this world. We talked about if I should get another journal and publish the stuff I had in my current journal as a fiction piece. "I would but I'm known for my true and nonfiction stuff, what if someone takes it seriously and goes to find Queen Olympia?" I said to Bradley and he agreed that might be a problem. "Yeah, she was a very kind person even though we were stocking them for a week. She might not be so nice with a stranger or with some random person." Bradley said and I laughed a bit.
I then thought for a moment, "Hey since they are real do you think their counterpart the other ones are real?" I said making Bradley confused about who or what I meant. I then without saying anything drew what I meant on the cold glass window. It was in the shape of a wolf and Bradley then understood what I meant. "Oh, yeah definitely, if the legends of everyone fairy tale and monster are becoming more real I assume they are real." He said as I looked kind of scared for a moment, "We are heading to the place where both are legends to start should we be prepared for what we might find?"
Bradley looked at me and he smiled, "You have been the one to calm any situation down, If you can't here maybe we'll have to fight our way out." He said joking about every encounter we've had so far I would talk to the people we've met.
After a growling six hours on the train, we came to the middle of Transylvania, this was the place we came to back in the early days of traveling. Some of the people working the train station looked the same they even remembered me. They greeted me and asked, "What brings you back to this lovely place?" They asked me and I smiled saying, "Here for a new book, there was much I didn't see when I was here." The manager who I was talking to stopped smiling and he looked at the serious expression on my face.
Bradley and I headed to our hotel room which was an old inn that I found on the map. I called ahead and they were to have it set up. When we got there the Inn manager was waiting at the desk, she looked normal but I now know what I was looking for saw she was a Vampire. Her eyes were not a normal human color, they were pink in color, her skin was light but not pale like a Royal vampire. You could also see she had fangs popping out of her lips a bit.
Then as I greeted her and saw the worker coming down the stairs she recognized me right away. "Ah you're the writer who came here ten years ago, you were quite young back then." She said to me, the girl looked like she was in her early teens but I could tell she was a vampire too. I looked at her and she blushed, "Ah yes, I ran into a woman named Andreea and she told me to visit here once more to get a real visit of this land." I said gaming the girls gasp a little, Bradley behind me started to laugh a bit when he noticed what I was doing.
" stop making them squirm brother, I know you know what they are." He said that they were going to deny the accusations. "Sorry for making you freak out a bit, I am very aware of your kind, I've had a very long night at the king's party the other week," I said and the girls calmed down to just see if I was bluffing. "Yeah he was nice, Vlad even gave me this brother," Bradley said pulling out a charm he had in his pocket. It had the King's seal on it, they looked at each other and then we're going to say something again.
"Is the room ready!" I said changing the subject, the girls said yes and the younger-looking one took us to our rooms. I saw the worker was scared of me now but I was just smiling about the conversation down the hall. "Don't be afraid of me or my Brother here, we are just here to find out where the best places to venture are." The girl looked back at us and told us not to try and find the werewolves. "They have been quiet for a long time and they would like if it stayed that way." I slapped Bradley's chest and I gave him ten dollars for the best we had. The girl didn't see it and we settled down the room for the day.
I was in the chair near the window an hour after we came to the Inn and I had a thought about smoking the cigar I had in my pocket. I got up from the seat then headed down the hall to the front door. The front porch of the inn was long and reminded me of the old west of America, I saw a chair in the corner and so I sat down while taking out the cigar. I then pulled out my stainless steel cutter and then I snipped the end of the cigar. I then throw the clipped bits and pulled out a matchbox with a metal cover. I lit the match and lit the cigar, many people around the town watched me as I smoked the cigar.
I guess a twenty-five-year-old man smoking a dark cigar was a strange sight to see. I dressed in the clothes I got from the Vampires world or at least it was the shirt and pants with my new pair of shoes. I looked like a bad guy from a comic book, you know the ones that aren't the main villain but still kick some ass. I stood up after a minute and I saw the worker watching me from the window of the Inn. "You don't have to tippy-toe around me, I can tell if someone is watching me," I said making her hit her head on the window. She came outside and told me that the people around here didn't like new people.
"I can see that, and the werewolf looking at me wants a fight with me the way it's staring at me," I said looking forward right at a wolf-like monster looking right at from an alley. I had noticed them right before the worker came through the front door. I hit the door frame and Bradley came down the hall. He brought me the journal I had left in the room when I came outside. Bradley looked right at the creature and then Bradley noticed I had vanished from the porch.
Both my brother and the worker looked for me and even the werewolf looked confused. It looked around and couldn't find me so it began to walk towards the inn. The worker began to freak out when the beast got within ten feet of them. I was on top of a house watching the creature to see what it would do. Then when I saw it was going to be hostile I jump down much like when I met Andreea and pulled the beast to the ground.
The werewolf was spoked by this and tried to get away from me, again my eyes were glowing, I also wasn't letting the werewolf move one bit. "Why are you trying to hurt me and my brother, we've done nothing wrong to you," I said to it and I let the creature up, it stood up and hit me in the face trying to kill me. Like from the vampire attack weeks ago I wasn't hurt by the claws but I felt the power of the hit.
I grabbed my face and it was my eyes stopped glowing but go black as its fur. Bradley saw this in a book once on our travels. ( There are some people in the true history of the human world considered god and warriors chosen to free or destroy. Some are called berserkers, Heros, Villians and they can be seen all over history to have special powers or abilities. These powers can be given to said people next generations.) Guessing from his observation Bradley and I was given these abilities to save or destroy something.
I then punched the werewolf with a bit too much force and sent it into the wall of the inn. My mind went blank for a moment and then I woke up to see another wolf in front of me.
