I was on the hill of the outback hunting this monster of the ages, she has been killing humans and non-humans for the last two years. I found where she had been last and I had to cover my nose from what she left behind. She, the monster had been hunting a bunch of potchers and found their camp near a water hole. She had killed them all in a brutal and grotesque with the bodies rotting in the sand. I was alone in this search for the killer, Bradley, and the Pixie I was with stayed with the council till I came back.
With them out of my way I can go all out on this killer, but I was only going to do that If I can't talk to the beast. I walked around the scene for a bit then I saw some tracks going north to the water. "She has to be over there, there aren't any signs she's left the area yet." I walked over to the water and I throw a rock near the shore. The water rippled for a bit then I saw something move in the middle of the pond. I could feel she was watching me and I thought it would confuse her if I sat on the edge of the water.
closing my eyes and I waited for her, she wasn't a man-eater just a killer, but she wasn't doing this because she was mad as in crazy. She was angry about something I saw that these potchers were hunting reptiles. "Did they kill your people? Or did kill someone close to you miss?" I said to the water, the water moved a bit but never got closer to me. She was just watching me, she knew something was up and that I wasn't scared of her scared her. From me leaving the mountain to meeting this creature I was taught how to hunt Non-humans the right way. I had the power but not the means to capture or fight to control people.
"I am here because the council of the non-humans wants to bring you in for the murders of hundreds of lives. I am a human, but I am not a normal one, I'm here to understand what's going on." The Killer woman stood up from the water and she got the courage to attack me finally. She ran at me with everything she had, clawing and scratching at my arms and body. She could cut me and then I did something I wasn't planning and she wasn't expecting. I gave her a hug and brought her to the ground. I saw she had tears when she was attacking me, she had lost more than anyone knows. You could see that in her movements and tears running down her face, the hug brought that all out.
She began to cry like a baby in my arms and she began to hug me back, " I want to know who hurt you this much, I will help you if you want me to." I said to her and she got up from my arms and looked right at me. "I have only been attacking and killing poachers and no one else, These guys were the last ones in the area," she said to me and I felt she wasn't lying to me, but I felt she was hiding something. "What happened to make you kill all of these people?" I said to her grabbing both of her shoulders.
"Some humans came to my village in the hills and killed everyone for their skins and claws. They thought we were some kind of crocodile or something, They even killed the children I was hunting by myself. It was brutal and scary like that scene back there," She pointed to the mess by the camp behind us. I took out my phone and I called my brother who was right next to the leader of the council. I told Bradley to put the cell phone on speakerphone so I could talk to the leader.
"Hello sir, I have the Killer right next to me and I have something to ask?" I said on the phone, The woman next to me looked at me and wondered what I was doing. "Go ahead Jacob what is it that you want to ask for." Mitus that leader of the council said with everyone coming around him to hear what I had to say. "Can you have someone by you see if there's been an increased amount of Lizard skins or croc skins coming out of the outback?" I said to the phone and waited for a bit, I then heard the voices in the distance. "They are being sold out of the south end of the country, a huge amount that doesn't count up to known croc hunts. They have a croc hunt but this amount is fresh and out of season." Just what I thought, I looked at the girl and she looked at me confused.
"Mitus, she's not as crazy as you think she is, the killer you're wanting me to bring in is a Lizard Nom-human. She says her people were all killed off for their skins, can I go investigate to find out for sure?" I asked him and it took a minute but her told me I could, So I went and I check out the camp for a clue. I was digging around for a bit with the lizard woman watching me, "So what is your name miss I can't call you lizard." I said to her and she smiled a bit, "I am known as Lilith the chief's daughter or I was his daughter." I walked past her and patted her head, " I am Jacob Willhelm, I am a Book writer and painter. As of late though I've been the one hunting killers of humans and Non-humans." Lilith listen to me and didn't know what a Book writer was, I found a book on the ground and showed her it.
"I write these things about my journeys all over the world, I've made a lot of money from doing that," I said and she understood what money was, She began to look at the book and saw it was a map book. " Jacob, what kind of book is this? It has pictures of the land in it." I ran over and saw it was directions to the trading post for the poachers. "You just found where the last clue is for me to help you, If I catch these people with the hides of your people I can set you free and bring them to justice."
What was not known to everyone is that Andreea and I had traded cell numbers and texted about what was going on. If I was to find the evidence I needed to set Lilith free or off Scott free, she would deal with the poachers for me. As in she would send her guards and people to arrest them for killing non-humans. I stole a car from the dead poachers and had Lilith follow me to the trade station. I could use her sense of smell to find the skins, so when we came to a huge warehouse I told her to let me find them. I jumped out of the car and found the black market right in the middle of the port. I saw tones of Illegal goods and skins from many animals I looked far into the window and saw croc and lizard skins.
There was so much it was sickening to even look at them, I jumped down to the car and told Lilith to follow me. "If a fight breaks out use this and it this button, my friends will come and help," I said showing her the button on my phone. She grabbed my phone and we snuck over to the croc skins to get a better look at them. There I saw the shape of human-shaped croc skins hanging on the wall.
I looked over and saw Lilith's face go dark, it was her Fathers skin hanging on said wall. I stopped her and opened the my cell phone, I pressed one botton and a bunch of Vampire came through a portal. Andreea was with them as they arresting the entire warehouse, I kept Lilith calm when this was all going down. She was crying and I could only hold her, "I'm sorry you have to see this, It's too much for anyone, human or not." I said to her and she grabbed onto me crying harder, my shirt began to get soaked.
Andreea came over to us and she saw how destroied my shirt was, then she looked up at my face and jumped a bit. I had nothing but anger in my eyes for the humans of this counrty and what they did to Lilith's people. "My father wants you to take that position at the monster school, but if you need time to think about it." I stopped her and told her, " I will take the job, I don't want to be around Humans for a while."
