Zach was completely speechless. Although she made sense, he just discovered that there was entirely a moment where he somehow felt his brain was deteriorating in front of her.
Hearing the word unfair to sleep with him made Zach feel annoyed. His face darkened after catching a glimpse of her eyes, looking between his legs, provoking him to work on something for her to stop her ridiculous thoughts.
Unfortunately, there is something he needed to achieve first. Zach understood her point, but he couldn't comprehend why Angie kept on rejecting him and seemed looking down at him.
"So you're rejecting me? Then fine, just wait and watch her punishment." Zach coldly said.
Truthfully, he wanted to ask if she hated him that much, but after recalling what happened between them in the past, it already gave him an answer.
He could only sigh inwardly. When he finally releases her and stands up from the bed full of disappointment, Zach furrows his brows as his heart unexpectedly feels pained and agitated that Angie didn't want to marry him.
Zach wondered why his heart was troubled that he couldn't marry her. 'Was it because I had been searching for her, but now she's in front of me I couldn't get her to marry me?'
Like fireworks abruptly exploding in his mind, dispelling all his failure, Zach couldn't help smiling secretly. His lifeless heart began blooming again when Angie suddenly grabbed his arm in a rush.
Zach tilted his head to look at her sideways, but his face still showed a cold expression yet striving hard to hide his lips that wanted to smile.
"If I marry you, you won't punish Anna and you must agree with my conditions." Angie coldly uttered but her eyes demonstrated uncertainty.
Zach nodded in response, but he noticed her hand that was holding his arm tightened her grip. He could see from her eyes she was full of hesitation and aggrieved emotions.
'Why is she very repulsive towards marrying me? Don't tell me she has feelings for her ex-husband?' Zach thought while his face darkened.
Before Zach could think further, Angie sighed helplessly. "Fine, I will marry you if you agree with my conditions."
"You cannot restrain me from doing what I want. That means you can't force me to do what I don't want to do." Angie immediately added before he could respond.
"Secondly, I don't want anyone to know about our marriage, of course aside from your family, we also don't need to inform my family." Angie continued but Zach's face darkened.
Angie started again but Zach's face turned darker than the bottom of a pot. "In short, we are not a legal couple in public. Whatever happens, you can never claim to be my husband in public.."
"Why can't we inform your family? They are my in-laws and have the right to know that you are marrying me." Zach coldly refuted while furrowing his brows, showing his dissatisfaction.
"I don't want to make my mom worry about me. Besides, I don't want her to see your ugly face." She insisted with disdain.
"Didn't you just confess earlier that I am handsome? Or are you saying that our daughter looks ugly?" He blatantly asked while gritting his teeth.
Angie froze and her body stiffened, making Zach smirk. 'How long are you going to deny that I'm the father of our child?'
Watching her face slowly turning cold and dark, Zach touched his nose. His brain was certainly withering in front of her.
He keeps reminding himself. 'Can't go against my wife. Otherwise, she might not marry me and run away with another man.'
Thinking back on what he said to himself, Zach's face turned black again, 'No, don't even think about running away from me, especially with another man!'
"Are you listening?!" Angie grunted after noticing his floating mind.
Zach came back to his senses, but his expression didn't change before clearing his throat. "Continue."
"I have a lot of bo.. I mean friends. Especially men and gays. We embraced each other and kissed on our cheeks but we treated each other as brothers and sisters."
Hearing her explanation, Zach's face instantly turned darker before he coldly spoke. "That was before, but it is no longer allowed after we got married."
"No! What you want means you're restraining me for what I want. Even though my friends and I do those things, we still know our boundaries and I won't do such things to just any man." Angie argued with assurance and justification.
With her reasons, Zach wanted to decline and insist on what he wanted. But seeing her firm and stubborn attitude in the short period they met, he can guess that Angie won't agree to marry him if he declines.
"Fine, I agree." He conceded while grinding his teeth in annoyance.
'You just wait! As long as you marry me, I will never allow you to get close to any other men!' Zach schemed secretly.
"That's good. Then that also includes the fact that you cannot claim my daughter as your child. I don't want her to get entangled with anyone, especially you!" Angie added with a sharp look in her eyes.
This made Zach unconsciously clench his fist while feeling uncomfortable. Being restrained to be a father to his daughter almost hit his forbearance.
Unfortunately, there's nothing he could do, and couldn't blame Angie since it was all his fault. "Just in public, but I can still be her father in private."
"Why would you act like her father? The DNA test is a fraud and we're only married on paper. Not totally married as a real husband and wife." Angie firmly demanded.
"No! Once we're married, you are my legal wife! Not only in paper or name but as wife and mother of my daughter!" Zach coldly asserted without giving a chance for rejection.
'Who said we will only be married on paper? I will make sure you will give me more children so you won't have a chance to run away.' He added in his thoughts.
