Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

At this moment, Zach was still not aware that his intense guilt has completely turned into possessiveness while his obsession with Angie for almost ten years has become deeper.

Seeing their eldest son (grandson) exhibiting an unexpected fear and various expressions for the very first time since he was born, the Rainford elders felt very complicated.

Zach had always been cold, decisive, and indifferent. He never showed any emotions and weaknesses, yet it is different when it came to his wife.

Given his zero EQ, they knew that Zach wasn't aware of his changes. They are not blind as it was clear to them that his feelings for Angie weren't just guilt and responsibility. There must be something else.

Aside from always being obsessed with Angie for many years despite not knowing who she was, his possessiveness and pampering were already visible since he met her.

They didn't know whether to feel distressed, worried, or happy that Zach finally learned to have feelings. He is now more human-like than a robot who only knew how to work.

What worried them most was he would lose his reasoning if something bad transpired to his wife. It was a good thing that Angie was his motivation but they feared that she would also become his weakness.

Particularly that Zach was already showing an unexpected stupidity when it comes to his wife and child. Perhaps it was due to not having any experience with relationships.

"Do you now understand why we didn't tell you about them?" Mr. Rainford inquired after Zach finally settled down and nodded in response.

They breathed a sigh of relief seeing that Zach returned to his calm state. They glanced at each other before they continued.

"Did you ever wonder how she got all her tattoos? Being a mother at a young age while getting a divorce less than two years after marriage, did you ever think about what she had been through?"

"..." Zach froze again, proving he truly didn't think about further things other than finding his wife. This made his mother unconsciously knead her forehead like having a headache.

Mrs. Raindford took a deep breath as she tried to suppress the feeling of wanting to slap her eldest son's head. She truly wanted to give this stupid son a good beating.

"Aren't you curious as to why she would have those huge tattoos on her body?"

"Anna sent me her photo wearing a two-piece swimsuit, displaying all her huge tattoos that even made us feel skeptical of what she was thinking to get those drawings on her skin."

Mrs. Rainford continued as she confessed what all of them were thinking. They had been very worried and felt more guilty after seeing those tattoos on Angie's body.

On the other hand, Zach's brain focussed on one point and cursed in his mind.

'She dared to wear a swimsuit to show her body in front of many people?! Damn it! I wouldn't let this happen again! Only I can see her beautiful body!'

Imagining Angie wearing a sexy swimsuit in front of many people made Zach feel jealous and restless. He wanted to go back in time and gouge out their eyes to prevent them from looking at his wife's body.

Although he knew it was normal since Angie's home was near the beach, Zach still couldn't accept for any man to stare at her body. They were like hungry wolves looking at their prey, ready to pounce at her anytime.

As his mind visualized what Angie looked like in those swimsuits. Those thoughts suddenly made his blood boil and unexpectedly feel aroused.

Zach suddenly thought for a second as he unconsciously rubbed his chin, 'I need to ask my little sister to send that photo so I could always see it on my phone.'

What Zach failed to notice was his elders' expression while watching him fall into deep thoughts, having various kinds of expressions that never appeared on his face.

They glance at each other, feeling speechless and helpless before looking at him in disbelief and contempt. It was as if he was a pervert that was thinking something dirty towards his wife.

"Are you listening?!" Grandpa Rainford couldn't help yelling, bringing Zach back to his senses. He calmly nodded like he wasn't the person who had dirty thoughts.

After discovering that Zach still didn't notice that he had been acting strangely since he finally found and married his wife, Grandpa Rainford almost failed to stop himself from smacking his eldest grandson's head.

This made them feel very worried that their long-lost but recently found beloved daughter (granddaughter) in-law would suddenly feel disgusted and ask for a divorce.

What's unbelievable was that all of the elders from the Rainford family were thinking the same things.

'If these two ended up getting divorced, we could just kick our eldest son (Grandson) out of our residence while Angie and Zsazsa could continue to live with us.'

Poor Zach. He didn't know that his status in his parents' and grandparents' hearts had plummeted to the point of kicking him out of their residence since they found his wife and child.

Mr. Rainford coughed slightly to break the awkward atmosphere as he finally took the lead to explain.

"It is not that we despise her for having many huge tattoos, but we heard that she got all of them within a year."

"This made us worried as to what she had experienced and why she decided to get them in her skin."

They were informed that Anna and Harold strive hard to get the details as to what Angie thought of by having all of her tattoos. At first, they thought she became a model in a tattoo competition, but eventually, they found out that she didn't.

Angie didn't have any tattoos before until she suddenly came back home and was already wearing all of her tattoos. Even her mother was shocked by her sudden change.

"There is something you need to check over about her. She seemed to be hiding something even from her family." Mr. Rainford suddenly announced.
