Chereads / The Agent's Love For The Princess / Chapter 8 - Who Is That Guy?

Chapter 8 - Who Is That Guy?

It was time for my Science class when I arrived at school. Kiara smiled flirtatiously. She had enjoyed our time learning Science last night. I bet she was waiting for when would be the next session.

I was lucky that our teacher had not yet arrived. Otherwise, I would be in the spotlight again for not attending the class two days back. I walked to the vacant chair, and like yesterday it was behind Reagan.

'Yes! I am sitting behind my princess today,' I thought with a smile.

'I am not your princess! Stop dreaming!' Reagan replied.

'Oh, good morning, new girl! It's early in the morning, and you are already pissed?'

'You pissed me this early.'

Before I could reply, Kiara tapped my shoulders and said, "It was great studying with you last night. Sadly, we can't do it later. My dad would be coming home from a business trip. But maybe next week, what do you say?"

I look at Reagan's back. I remembered telling her that I was going to dump Kiara after yesterday. I thought of what to say to Kiara, but I was lucky that our teacher came and I did not have to answer.

It was easy to tell Kiara that we should stop playing, but I still wanted to like a real player. I mean, if the opportunity comes knocking at your door, why would you say no, right?

Science was one of my boring classes. It was not because of the subject, but Mrs. Jones makes it as dull as hell with her monotoned voice and expressionless face. I get bothered that I check the clock from time to time to know how many minutes to go before lunch break.

When the bell rang, I felt relieved. I wanted to follow Reagan so we could eat together, but Kiara pulled my hand.

"Hey, why are you leaving so fast? Do you want to go lunch together?" Kiara asked.

I turned, and Reagan was no longer in the classroom. She walked so fast that I didn't know whether she would go to the cafeteria or not.

"Ah, sure!" I replied to Kiara. Even if I say no, I know she would follow me like a tail.

We went to the cafeteria together. I kept looking around, and I could not see Reagan anywhere. I could not smell her sweet scent, so I knew she was not around.

"Where are you?" I murmured.

"Who? Who are you looking for?" Kiara asked.

"I am looking for my stupid best friend, Garret."

"Garret is not in our class, and I think his lunch break is different from us. But don't worry, you have me. Why do you need Garret for?"

"Nothing, I am just used to Garret being around. I only saw him yesterday before the bell rang. I wondered if he is still breathing."

I lied. I know Garret, and I don't have the same classes or lunch break. We usually see each other before or after school. But my eyes were looking for the new girl. Where is she? I thought we had the same classes and break. I was waiting for this moment that she and I would eat lunch together.

"Come on! Let's just grab some food and find a table to sit at," Kiara said and pulled my hand.

As soon as we sat on a chair, I smelled her. It was so sweet and intense that I was really addicting. I could not help but turn to look in her direction. My girl looked so pretty, with her hair tied into a high ponytail. Her smile was so innocent and beautiful. I was mesmerized by her and forgot that I was Kiara.

"Brexon, why are you looking at that Reagan girl? Are you cheating on me?" Kiara asked.

"What!?" I replied.

"I said why were you looking at that new girl? What's with you and her?"

"Don't you find her pretty? She is so damn beautiful and hot."

"What are you trying to say? I am not beautiful enough for you?"

"Oh, that's not it, Kiara. You two are beautiful in your own way. But wait, who is that tall guy with him?"

"I heard a new guy is coming in today. He is probably the one and looks like Raegan already has a boyfriend."

'No! Raegan is mine! That ugly guy needs to disappear in the face of the earth. I will not allow him to have her,' I thought while feeling like killing that blonde guy with Raegan.

It felt like hell when I looked at them smiling at each other while they grabbed some food and sat at a table. There were alone chatting and laughing. I wonder what they talked about that Raegan could smile like that.

"Look at how sweet they are! I envy them. Why can't we be like them?"

"Kiara, you know I don't do that."

"Yeah, but they looked good together. I feel like they have known each other for a long time. Otherwise, they would not be that comfortable and close."

'What!? My girl looked better with that blonde guy who seemed gay to me. He kept giving me stolen glances. When I wanted to look at my girl, and it was him whom I caught looking at me.'

I tried to mind link Raegan, but she won't answer. I don't know if she couldn't hear me or she ignored me entirely because of that blonde in front of him. I wanted to go to them and take her away from him.

"Yo, Brexon! I thought I would not be able to catch you here. It was good that my History class finished early," Garret said with a smile.

"Why are you here, Garret? I was enjoying a moment with my guy here," Kiara.

"Oh, really? Why does he look like he wanted to kill someone? What did you say or do to him?"

"Huh?"

Kiara and Garret looked at me, and I still could not notice them. I got caught up with my jealousy with that blonde guy that I forgot that they were around.

"Brexon, dude, what's up with you?"

I finally went back to my senses after hearing that.

"Oh, finally, I have seen you, Garret. Dude, I thought you died already," I replied.

"Shut up! I am still too young to die in this world. There are still so many ladies who are going to cry if I die."

"Really? Too many ladies, where are they?" Kiara said, teasing Garret.

"They are there. You just don't see them, Kiara. But dude, what's up with you?"

"Nothing. Something is irritating to look at right now. You and I will take care of it later," I replied.

Garret and Kiara looked puzzled, but I ignored them. I was too angry that I didn't care what they felt or thought of me right now.
