"Where am I? It feels so cold," Christopher said as he awoke from his slumber.
"Oh you're finally awake. It took you long enough but I'm glad you're back. I hope you enjoyed your little nap because I have some news for you," said Jelal, which seemed to have piqued Christopher's interest.
"Sure? Tell me what it is," said Christopher as he thought that Jelal planned on assigning him another small task to do like the one where he was sent to kill all the members of two whole gangs all by himself, however that was far from what Jelal was about to say.
"Christopher, do you still wish to become a villain? So far not a single person knows that you've been partaking in these types of activities. So if you truly wanted to, you have the opportunity to leave this all behind and turn your life around and become a hero. I ask you because the news I have to inform you of is very top secret and if I were to tell you it, I would need to make sure you're clearly on my side," said Jelal as he tried to make sure that Christopher would not betray him.
"To be perfectly honest with you, at first I expected being a villain to be much more different than this. I thought that all villains got their power from an evil magical core which supplied them with power so that they could do evil. I never thought that they work just as hard as heroes if not harder to maintain their strength and grow from it. I think it was at that point that I wanted to quit. I didn't want to work as hard as I would have if I was a hero just to get less advantages. Even so, I realised now that being a villain has perks of its own so I've come to a decision. I would like to stay a villain," said Christopher in a rather proud tone which brought about a smirk on Jelal's face.
"Okay, now that we've got that out of the way. I have some things which I need to inform you of. For starters, we can no longer stay inside the mansion as it was owned by the villain's association. Now that I'm not a part of it any longer, I cannot have access to it," said Jelal, which confused Christopher as Jelal was supposed to be one of the most skilled villains in the world which wouldn't make sense for him to be kicked out of being a villain.
"What do you mean? What could have possibly happened to cause such a drastic change?" Christopher asked in a rather concerned tone as he needed to find out what was going to happen from this point forward and if it would compromise Christopher's chances of becoming a villain.
"Well you see, there's a reason why I allowed you to join me the first day I met you," said Jelal which once again piqued Christopher's interest.
"What do you mean?" Christopher asked as he wanted an elaboration of what Jelal was implying.
"You see Christopher, I'm not just some ordinary villain. If I'm going to come clean, you might as well know that I'm the number 2 villain," said Jelal, which from hearing that alone made Christopher gasp from shock. Of course he had no idea of the ranking system that villains had so Christopher had no way of knowing that he was speaking to the second most renowned villain in the world.
"Wait are you joking or are you serious?" said Christopher as he couldn't believe what he had heard. After speaking so casually to him and even trying to attack him with the intent to kill so many times, Jelal had been so patient with Christopher which didn't make sense. Nevertheless, Jelal continued to explain.
"Do you remember our fight? The one right after your training in the gravity chamber? Well you should be able to remember the many times you tried to kill me during that. Even so, I didn't even try to kill you for one second. Well not technically since my fingers slipped and almost killed you but other than that, I was rather concerned about the situation. Now if I was the average villain, I would have killed you on the spot as if someone is trying to kill you, you should kill them before they get the chance to do so," said Jelal.
"Although that stood to be true, I didn't follow through with that. Instead, I tried to stop you multiple times. Over and over again. I mean if you weren't so weak compared to me, I would have been dead by now or more specifically, you would have been dead by now. Under any situation, my life will always be worth more than yours," said Jelal.
"You really forced me to use everything in my arsonal just to make you calm down and stop attacking me," said Jelal, which seemed to have struck a nerve on Christopher.
"Well that's because you tried to starve me to death. What was I supposed to do? Let you live freely after you just tried to kill me? Like you said before, kill before you get killed. That was what I was trying to do so you can't really blame me. In all truth, it was technically self defense as if I haven't done that, you could have tortured me more than that. You truly are a terrifying monster," Christopher replied as he tried to make Jelal even more angry but that didn't seem to happy. Not even in the least.
"I understand. Well I guess there's no better time to tell you than now. You Dee Christopher, I didn't let you join up with me for some random reason. It was because I saw potential in you. I saw something that many others couldn't. My plan was to turn that potential into a truly terrifying monster that could destroy anything in its path and eventually overpower the current number 1 villain," said Jelal in a disappointed tone.
"Oh, that? I already know," said Christopher as if he wasn't surprised at all.
