"Where is my son?!" Christopher's father yelled out as he barged inside the house that Christopher and Jelal were inside before Christopher was forced to run outside of it.
"Huh? You can't even knock? How disappointing. Where are your manners? Number 2 hero," said Jelal as he tried to make Christopher's father even more angry.
"The more frustrated he gets, the more his accuracy decreases. I have to do this as quickly as possible. If he maintains this stable state of anger, I could very well be killed sooner than I had thought. It doesn't look like he's ready to play any games. I have to start preparing," said Jelal to himself as he tried to think of any possible way for him to reasonably defeat Christopher's father without getting hurt too badly himself and there weren't many options which made the situation even more difficult for him.
"Look Jelal. I'm exhausted," said Christopher's father as he let go of his state of anger and calmed down in what seemed to be nothing more than a second.
"Huh? What happened?" said Jelal as he had not seen anyone shift emotions so quickly.
"Look, I know my son is with you. That's why the villains association came after you and you were forced to use your complete bond. I understand that my son came to you and you didn't kidnap him so I don't have any grudge against you. I only tried to sound angry so that you would force him to leave so that I could speak to you privately. Now that he's actually gone, I can talk to you without having to worry," said Christopher's dad, which made Jelal realise that the number 2 hero was smarter than people gave him credit for. After all, to set up a plan ahead of time which contained unknown variables which could have changed and actually make it work was a near impossible task as there were far too many things that could change in the flick of a button.
"Okay, I guess I don't have to try anything reckless then. Anyway, what is it that you wanted to talk to me privately about?" Jelal asked as this was one of the few times that the two had a conversation alone.
"You see, Crimson had killed Christopher's mother not that long ago. At first he wanted to get revenge-" Christopher's father began to speak but was cut off because Jelal already knew where the story was going.
"Let me guess? You told him that 'em you couldn't do anything to avenge his mother so he pretended to be alright then snuck off when he was alone so that if he couldn't rely on you to do it, he would just do it himself. Wow, that's gotta hurt. I mean your own son basically called you weak and useless. I mean he had every right to do so. I mean imagine having your own mother get killed in front of you and not being able to do anything as the man who did it walked freely like a hero. I mean even the media is controlled by him. This is the first time I've heard about Bonnie's death and I'm the second in the food chain for being a villain. That's truly awful which is why being a villain is better," said Jelal.
"Well the right path for a person to choose is a topic for another day, I'm only here to ask you for a request," said Christopher's father as he placed his head on the ground as if he was going to beg for mercy.
"Please Jelal, train my son to be the strongest villain his world has ever seen!" Christopher's father pleaded to Jelal who was caught extremely off guard as that was the last thing he would have expected to hear from the number two hero. Even so, he understood that he was completely serious and as such took the retest just as serious.
"You have my word, I'll turn him into a pure demon. However, don't blame me if your own son decides to hunt you down and kill you," Jelal replied.
"That's fine by me, as long as he gets to kill Crimson and I get to see that with my very eyes, I'm fine with that fate," said Christopher's dad before saying his goodbyes and leaving.
"Wow, I mean I would have never thought that the number two hero himself would bow down to me like that. That's unbelievable, don't you think so too, Christopher?" said Jelal as he looked at the back door as he could feel the presence of him behind the door.
"Yes, I couldn't have imagined that either. I mean I knew he was sort of gentle but I thought he only acted like that towards me," said Christopher in a confused tone after eavesdropping on the conversation between his father and Jelal.
"Well you would be right in assuming that your father was actually pretty harsh when it came down to villains. He wanted to become the number 1 hero so he took out a lot of his frustration on us villains. However, as would be expected, our relationship as rivals was rather complicated. As such, it was weird for me to see him act like that. I was going to convey the message to you as well, however there's no need to do that since you've already heard everything," said Jelal, which embarrassed Christopher as he was caught eavesdropping on a conversation which he should not have heard.
"Well, there's no need to get worked up about it. I guess we'll just have to start training you even harder than before. I have to warn you though, since I don't have the fancy technology that the villains association has, I'll be forced to be harsher on you so that you can grow in strength.
"I understand-" Christopher began to speak before Jelal punched him right in the chest which knocked the wind out of him.
"Let the training begin!"
