After deciding that Jelal would train Christopher harder than ever before, the two left the house inside the forest and started walking up a nearby mountain.
"Is there somewhere specific that you're taking me?" Christopher asked as he was getting bored and wanted to start a conversation so that time would go by quicker while the two of them continued their journey of climbing the mountain.
"Well yes in fact there is. this will help you a lot for your training, in fact it might be just the thing you need to start climbing the ranks of villains quickly," said Jelal as he turned around to see Christopher who was behind him before giving an encouraging look and then turning back once again so that he could lead the way. Christopher simply nodded and continued to walk in silence as he didn't know what to expect and just tried to guess I'm his head what Jelal had planned for him.
After finally making it up the mountain and reaching the top, Christopher was left confused as he didn't see anything which could have helped him in becoming stronger. As such, he once again turned towards Jelal to ask what he was supposed to use to train.
"Sorry, this might sound a bit rude but are you sure that the thing that's supposed to make me stronger is here? I don't see anything which could actually help me grow in power unless I fail to see something that's supposed to be right in front of me," said Christopher with a confused expression to which Jelal simply laughed.
"You see Christopher, we're already at the place where you're going to be training. You see, this mountain is what's going to help you attain unimaginable strength. Well more specifically, speed," said Jelal which just confused Christopher even more than before.
"I'm afraid I don't understand. What am I supposed to be doing here that's going to drastically increase my speed?" Christopher asked as he wanted an elaboration of what Jelal was getting at.
"Well, I want you to run down the mountain and come back up," said Jelal to which Christopher looked annoyed yet he was complacent and decided to impress Jelal so he ran down the mountain and climbed back up as fast as he possible could which took him about 10 minutes without the use of his abilities.
"How was that?!" Christopher asked in a rather happy tone while gasping for air as he had exhausted himself in hopes of impressing Jelal to which Jelal simply nodded and began to speak once again.
"That was wonderful. I'm proud to say the least. So I guess this task should only take a couple days or so. My instructions for you are to repeat what you just did over and over again. For every minute you're able to take off of the time it takes you for that journey, you'll be able to have a single meal. You'll repeat this process until it takes you only a single minute to do the task which is when we'll move in to the next phase of the plan," said Jelal in a calm tone as if he hadn't just asked someone to run down and then back up and mountain in less than a single minute.
"Hey Jelal, I'm just wondering, are you sure you're not insane?" Christopher asked as he couldn't believe that a single person could be so evil. Especially to just a child.
"Come on, you better get to training. Trust me on this, you're going to need all the training you can get. If you don't start repeating the process over and over again, you won't reach the speed you want and might even starve to death. And just in case you thought of jumping off the mountain and then running back up to reduce the time it takes exponentially, that's not allowed. It'll only count if you do it in the manner that you did it previously," said Jelal as he set the rules for Christopher and gave him a final nod and a thumbs up.
"Good luck!" Jelal said before Christopher gave an annoyed face and began to run back down the mountain then back up. He didn't even bother to slow down his pace so that he could catch a breath as he knew that if he slowed down his pace, the rate at which his overall speed increases would be lowered by an extreme amount. As such, Christopher needed to be much harder on himself just to insure that he would get the results that he sought or more specifically the results that Jelal sought.
"I mean I understand training me using this method but placing a rule that I can only eat once I've decreased the time it takes me to do this by a whole minute is just insane. Even 10 seconds is absurd let alone a whole minute. I'm pretty sure he wants me dead. I mean why else would he insist on torturing me like this. What's even scarier is the fact that after I've managed to reduce the time it takes me to complete this journey to nothing more than a minute, he said we can move on to the next phase which means that even after all this he still had plans to further increase my speed. How troublesome. Although now that I think about it, since I've been training so much, I'm pretty sure I'm a lot stronger than everyone in my school. Not that it matters since the training program there is child's play compared to this but it makes me happier knowing that I'm a fight between me and everyone there, I could wipe the floor with all of them," said Christopher to himself which gave him extra motivation to work harder. The fact that he was stronger than his whole school gave his ego an extreme boost but his motivation more of a boost as he wanted to feel much stronger than not only his school but the entire world. He wanted absolute power.
