"Am honored to have you here goddess." Kiaan Tilden bowed respectfully.
"From the reports I got about this company, I have to say you really tried." Rhea Azaan smiled.
"Thank you for the compliment madam!" He said softly.
Kiaan Tilden led the way, walking around different sectors of the small company. If Mr. Austin Finlay was here, he truly would be walking on air and praising his only son for luring the goddess of business into the company.
The visit wasn't just anything, of course the news would ran the following day and that's still same as marketing the company. Besides, where the goddess of business steps, everyone would want to taste what comes out from the company.
In his office, Kiaan Tilden welcomed Rhea Azaan to his seat which a bit more comfortable than the extra seat opposite.
"Am sorry I can't offer any best services for a goddess like you but maybe one day I will." Smiling sweetly, Kiaan Tilden said.
"That's no big deal." Rhea Azaan said while sitting down. Kiaan Tilden sat opposite her. "You seem to know more about me. Have we ever met before?"
"Umm... Actually goddess, we haven't met before. I don't know you either but just like any other business man who would want you to at least show up in their company, I have the same mind." Kiaan Tilden explained.
"But why did you ask if I remembered you?" Rhea Azaan asked.
Closing his black eyes, Kiaan Tilden bit his lower lip softly. That's too hard a question. He opened his eyes and looked at her. Rhea Azaan waited patiently for the answer.
"Actually I was just pulling a lame joke." Kiaan Tilden said. "Do you ever dream of meeting someone and just making them your friends? I had the dream of meeting the goddess one day and making her my friend though am just a nobody. So I started by saying such a lame joke. I just didn't think of anything serious to start of this friendship."
"But how comes you asked me why I visited the Arman company at Helium Prime?" She asked.
"All friends tend to be jealous at times and am no exception. You hadn't visited my company so I was jealous and angry." Kiaan Tilden said.
Rhea was lost of words. He was jealous? But how comes? They hadn't been friends for long except this being their fifth meeting.
"Ok I understand, but at times you have to know am a business lady and have many places to go and many people to meet. As a friend, you have to understand me well enough to know am a busy lady. Besides, this whole coming here was so abrupt I didn't even plane for it." Rhea Azaan said causing Kiaan Tilden's face to darken. She hadn't planned for it? What a heart breaking statement?
"Ok... Am sorry for being angry." Kiaan Tilden said.
When Rhea Azaan and Kiaan Tilden emerged from the office, Rhea Azaan was carrying a small bunch of flowers and looking happy. To show that he was really sorry for getting angry, Kiaan Tilden took the small flowers that were always placed on his desk and gave them to her. Though they weren't any special gift, she was pleased by his sincerity.
When the evening news was read out, Kiaan Tilden and his parents were in the living room watching. Kiaan Tilden was on top of the clouds as the reporter read out his name and reported on his day's encounter with Rhea Azaan. What caught the attention of the happy parents was the flowers he gave to Rhea Azaan.
"Kiaan, what is the meaning of those flowers?" Briella asked. Of course no one would say no if their son was to marry such a goddess, but again from another perspective, everyone would see that as impossible. Many billionaires and CEOs were eyeing her. How could such a goddess get married to a lowly orphan like Kiaan Tilden?
"Mom I can say it was some sort of an apology, but again, am interested in her." He replied. Mr. Austin Finlay jumped to his feet and looked at his son like he was looking at a ghost.
"Are you mentally ok son?" He asked.
"Yes dad, what's wrong? You're jumping up like something bit your butt!" Kiaan Tilden joked.
"Don't joke with such a serious issue. How many rich men in and out of this country are asking her for a hand in marriage? You're really making yourself a laughing stock if you ever try to think of taking her in as a wife. That's not possible!" Mr. Finlay said.
"Well, if you all think that's a joke, right. But at least, just like the tycoon's and the billionaires out there eyeing for her, I can be one of them. Seducing someone isn't restricted to monetary value. There is done beyond that." Kiaan Tilden said.
"Will you shut up son! That kind of a joke is too expensive ok?"
Also, At the Azaan home...
Rhea Azaan was busy on her laptop while her mother was watching. Her father, Mr. Amor Azaan was good in arts and he was busy drawing an image on a plain paper just there in the living room.
"Princess," Amor Azaan turned to his daughter. "You see such a handsome man?" Holding out the piece of paper, he said to his daughter. " That's the kind of a man I want you go get married to."
On the paper, a tall young man was drawn standing next to a palace and cars in the background. For some reasons, Rhea Azaan looked at the picture more closely.
"Do you know him?" She asked.
"No... It's just an image I drew." Mr. Amor Azaan said. "How is the man?"
"He's fine but..." Rhea Azaan started.
"But what? Let me see this image." Avery Azaan said. Rhea Azaan handed her the picture and kept quiet. After studying it for a while, she handed it back to her.
"That's a nice man you drew. Just hope one prince like that exists." She said smiling. She was still beautiful and charming in her mid age.
"Dad, can I keep it?" Rhea Azaan asked.
"Of course. I drew the picture for you so you can keep it." He said.
Rhea took the picture and walked upstairs and into her room.
She placed the paper carefully on her bedside table and pulled out the picture of Kiaan Tilden and placed it on the table next to the paper. Since when Kiaan Dropped the picture, she has carried it around in her handbag.
Something about this picture and the image his father drew looked the same. From the picture, the height of the man drawn was approximately the height of Kiaan Tilden in real life. The black eyes were not knew to her. This curly hair, the well trimmed beards.
"Wait, has dad ever met Kiaan Tilden?" She asked while still looking at the pictures. "But how is that possible? Even if he had, she would never want me to get married to such a lowly person. What's not happening?"
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Rhea Azaan quickly slid the picture and the drawn image into her handbag before her mother opened the door.
"What's wrong with you?" Avery Azaan asked.
"Mom am ok. Is dinner ready?" Feeling nervous, Rhea Azaan asked.
"What happened between you and that Finlay bastard? Can you explain what I just saw on TV?"
