The ladies also thought that the man chosen by Rhea Azaan must be of high living standards and a very handsome some. If Kiaan Tilden knew how he was being awaited at Royal hotel, he would walk on cloud nine.
An old car drove into the garage and parked. A young man walked out of the car in a simple V-shaped blouse and a black trousers. He was handsome. If it were on normal conditions, probably girls would stop and admire his appearance before snorting at his old car. But today was a different day. Everyone was waiting for the man Rhea Azaan had invited here for dinner.
The man walked to the receptionist who didn't even give him a second glance since she was focusing on the gate.
"Excuse me..." He started.
"No visitors today. The business goddess booked the whole hotel so we aren't hosting any other visitor." She replied without looking at him.
"But..."
"But what? Will you just get out?" She shouted at him. Kiaan politely stepped out and made a call, after which the elevator clicked and heels kissed the floor. Everyone turned to look at Rhea Azaan.
"Who send my visitor out?" She asked.
"Huh! Your highness no one by that name has come here. He's the one everyone is waiting for. How could we send him out?" The receptionist asked with a horrified face. Just then, Kiaan Tilden walked in again.
"Call your manager!" Rhea Azaan commanded.
"Madam please, don't do this to me. I didn't know your visitir could be such a person." She begged. The other employees nodded while studying Kiaan Tilden. In terms of physical appearance, he was at par. But how could he appear in a such an old car and confuse them?
"Yes ... Yes... Madam!" The manager tumbled over the stairs and ran to Rhea Azaan.
"Am buying the whole hotel. That means, all the irresponsible employees will be dismissed off job." She said with a clear face.
"Yes madam!" The manager forced a bitter smile. This was a family property and he didn't want to loose it. But looking at Rhea Azaan's serious face and the fact that she can even pay triple the price, he had to accept. Besides, there was no otherwise.
"Follow me." She said to Kiaan Tilden.
The employees were left dump founded.
"Wait, is that her man? That cheap idiot?" One employee said. After all she knew she was going to loose her job.
"I heard that he's the adopted child of the Finlays." Another put in.
"How could she even date such a person? What a waste of beauty?" The receptionist who was kneeling now stood up and snorted.
Meanwhile... In the room
"There is nothing special about this dinner anyway but I just..." Rhea Azaan started but Kiaan Tilden stopped her.
"Actually there is. This is our first dinner since the beginning of our friendship few days ago. To me, it's still significant." Kiaan Tilden said while biting the piece of meat from his plate.
"If you say so. Anyway, since those workers mistreated you, I have decided to buy the whole hotel. Can I have it handed over to you?" She asked.
"That's not necessary. Besides, you didn't buy the hotel for me. You bought it for yourself." Kiaan Tilden responded. How could he accepted such a huge gift?
Rhea Azaan sighed and continued eating silently.
The next morning, reporters flocked into the State Azaan company asking about yesterday's incident at Royal hotel which now officially belonged to the Azaan family.
"Her majesty, can you tell the public why you care so much about that young man?" One reporter asked.
"Actually I do care not only about him but about everyone who gets close to me. As a human being, he deserves his respect. Everyone ought to respect him just the way they respect me or any other significant figure in this country." Rhea Azaan explained.
"Her majesty, rumors has it that the young man is your secret lover. What do you have to say?" Another reporter asked.
"Actually he's my very close friend, not a lover." She said.
Many questions were asked and when the journalists were satisfied, they finally left.
Amongst the people watching the news and Rhea Azaan's answers to the questions posed by the journalists was Geo Arman from Helium Prime. Only God knows for how long he eyed this goddess and now he felt jealous when she actually admitted that one young man was her close friend.
"Prepare a plane for me. I need to fly to Grematoria tomorrow." Geo Arman have the order.
"Yes boss." Izak, his first hand man replied. "Boss, are you in love?" Izak asked which caught Geo Arman unprepared.
"Get out!" Geo Arman roared at Izak who simply smiled and walked out. Geo Arman was a nice man who never harassed his guards.
"But boss..." Izak peeped in again.
"I don't want to talk to you." Geo Arman said without looking back. Izak finally gave up and left.
In Grematoria.... Azaan home.
Rhea Azaan entered the house in no mood for jokes. She had worked hard the whole day and was also annoyed with the uninvited guests, the journalists. She intended to stay in her room till dinner time but her mother, Avery Azaan called her saying they had an important family agenda to discuss about.
"Mum am really too tired for family discussion right now!" Rhea Azaan complained.
"It's urgent, especially your father wants to talk to you." Stepping hard on the soft carpet, Rhea Azaan was forced to follow her mother.
"My Princess, we have to start talking about your matters of marriage. You are already a big girl now and we also need an heir. The Azaan family can't just lack an heir especially in this century. Since you're the only person to help in the continuation of this family lineage, we as your parents are so earger to find you the best suitor." Mr. Amor Azaan said.
"Dad... I can't allow that. I mean, why can't you people let me decide who to spend the rest of my life with? Don't push me too hard. For some reasons I don't feel comfortable discussing about marriage." Rhea Azaan said.
"Are you not supposed to be thinking about who to get married to now? Are you growing any younger princess?" Avery Azaan asked.
"Mum it's not like I don't think about it, but I haven't met the one to make me think about it." Rhea Azaan said.
"That's why your dad here and I have decided to have you meet different people from different backgrounds so you could choose for yourself." Avery Azaan said.
"Am not interested." Rhea Azaan said.
