Chapter 11 - CHAPTER ELEVEN: MOVING OUT

"Dad, mom, what's wrong? Why are you two standing like…"

"Stop right there! Do you want us dead? Do you have a death wish?" Briella asked.

"What death wish? What are you people talking about?" Kiaan Tilden asked.

"Mr. Azaan was here and gave us a warning. You have to stop seeing her majesty." Mr. Austin said.

"How is that possible? She is my friend after all… if she didn't offend me, I can't stop seeing her." Kiaan Tilden said.

"Tilden, your father and I are too old to bare any consequences of your carelessness. We can't afford to offend the Azaan family. Why did you choose that of all the families?" Briella asked.

"Mom, dad, if the Azaan family threatened you, fine, I'll move out so I won't drag you into this. I can't stop being a friend to someone just because their parent gave orders." Kiaan walked to his room leaving his parents dumbfounded. Moving out?

AZAAN FAMILY…

Who said Rhea Azaan would go home?

She was too mad to face her parents only to get to her apartment and find her father waiting.

"We're going home right now!" Mr. Amor Azaan commanded his daughter.

"Dad I want peace. I don't want to go home." Rhea Azaan complained.

"It wasn't a request princess, it's a command!"

Rhea Azaan stamped her foot to the ground as she stormed into her bedroom. She was too angry she ended up throwing out things from her closet and throwing a tantrum.

"Madam, will you need anything before you leave?" Lina peeped in.

"Get out of my room!"

Rhea Azaan was driven home together with her dad. No one talked during the journey. She kept clicking and cursing until car entered the compound.

BROWN APARTMENT.

At the other end of Grematoria early that morning, someone else was moving into a new house. The Brown apartment, as it was known had a sizeable living room, a bedroom, bathroom and a study room. Though it was small, Kiaan Tilden liked his knew residence place.

Before he left home, Austin and Briella tried hard to convince him to just stay. But remembering the Rhea Azaan's father would threaten their lives if he made any small mistake, he just decided to leave. That also meant, he was no longer a manager at Finlay company.

"I work on shifts, ok? I can't leave this apartment because it's really close to where I work. Do you know how many days I struggled looking for a place to stay? Am not moving out." A lady who was known as Fannie wasn't willing to move out.

While Fannie argued with the owner of the apartment, Kiaan sat comfortably on the seat and watched them. He cared less about their argument. After all he had paid three times the money demanded.

"He isn't willing to share the apartment with anyone else. You have no option, Fannie." He said.

"What do you mean he doesn't want whatever?" all the while, Fannie hadn't seen the new tenant. When she looked back, her jaws dropped. The guy was just too handsome and cool. He was staring right into her eyes that she blushed. After all, Kiaan didn't care.

"Will you excuse us?" Fannie told the landlord who walked out. Kiaan maintained his posture as if nothing happened. "Hi handsome…"

"Hi too." To lazy to say anything more, Kiaan stood up and wanted to walk to the bedroom but Fannie stopped him.

"you're new in town, right? I haven't seen you around here." Fannie said. Seeing Kiaan wasn't saying anything, she smiled awkwardly and continued. "Am Fannie."

"Am Kiaan… I don't shake hands with people. No physical contacts." Kiaan said. Fannie smiled with embarrassment as she dropped her hand.

"Umm… actually I wasn't planning to move out soon. Can we…" Fannie bit her lips.

"No… I can't share a room with you. You can't stay here." Kiaan entered the bedroom leaving Fannie standing there alone. Maybe one day she'll remember meeting this man who never had any interest in her beauty.

Evening…

That morning, Briella and Austin were forced to start work again in their old age. In the evening, the couple drove home, still down cast about Kiaan's departure earlier that day. Except for his papers, clothes and few documents, he didn't leave with anything. Though he promised to be checking on them frequently, he preferred to keep his current residence place a secret.

When the couple got home, they were surprised to see a convoy of cars parked outside their cars. Outside stood the goddess of business leaning backwards on her car while pressing her phone.

Hutson stood alert while rolling the keys in his hands.

Getting out of their car, the two really wanted to kneel down and beg Rhea Azaan to leave the family in peace. But how could they do that?

"Good evening her majesty." Mr. Austin greeted.

"Her majesty we are sorry if our boy caused you trouble. We'll personally deal with him. Just don't do anything to him please…" Briella kneeled down and begged. Rhea Azaan was surprised.

"He did nothing wrong. Am here to meet him." Rhea Azaan said while curving her cute mouth into a polite smile that surprised the two.

"He left."

"What? Where to? He didn't call me!" Rhea Azaan was surprised and at the same time, she knew she would miss him if he didn't show up.

AT CRYSTAL ESTATE

Rhea Azaan paced her study room. Today, books, files, papers were all over the floor. She was too mad at Kiaan for living without telling her at too mad at him for not picking up her calls either.

"Who does he think he is? Just a friend?" Rhea Azaan asked herself.

For some reason, she missed Kiaan Tilden. She missed his mysterious self, those black eyes.

When she came back form the Finlay home, she locked herself up feeling down. Kiaan had really left and no one, not even his parents knew where he was.

To make matters worse, he wasn't picking up calls either.

"I miss you…" Rhea Azaan murmured. Then her phone beeped.

"Could he be the one?" rushing over the pile of papers on the floor and scattering everything, Rhea Azaan was in a hurry hoping that Kiaan was the caller only to see the screening shining with her father's call.

"Is this why I really hurried over?"

"Princess, you got a parcel from abroad." Hutson knocked.

"I don't need it." Rhea replied.

Her parents back at home were worried since she wasn't picking up calls and Hutson had said she was locked up in the study room.

Morning…

Rhea Azaan was too lazy to wake up. Thinking that her friend had disappeared was enough to make her want to sleep forever. Anyway, she forced herself to office feeling very low.

Looking lazily at the files before her, Rhea Azaan closed her eyes and rested her head on the back of her seat. She couldn't understand why she wanted Kiaan to always be around.

Valerie matched in in her heels making a noise that Rhea Azaan didn't like. She wanted a cool place to be.

"The Lord in business Mr. Antony Ethan is already calling. He said the conference meeting will commence few hours from now. Besides, all the records from Helium Prime…"

"Stop right there, I don't want to hear the rest. Call Mr. Ethan and inform him I won't be available. No one should call me, no meetings today. No visitors to be allowed in." Rhea Azaan gave the order.
