"OK ma'am." Valerie moved out.
Meanwhile…
Kiaan Tilden was too lazy to wake up but he forced himself out of bed. Staying alone, he felt very lonely. At least, he missed his parents. He missed being with them and helping them where he could. Kiaan pulled himself into the kitchen and prepared breakfast before taking a shower and coming back to eat.
Since he left the old car back at his home, he took a taxi down the streets…
"No, you can't go in." the guards said. "She doesn't want to see anyone today." The security guards stopped him at the gates of State Azaan company.
"What do you mean I can't go in?" Kiaan was surprised.
"Will you just give her a call? We can't go against her orders." Being the trained guards that they were, they gave him a better option.
"Madam, you have a call."
"I already said no calls today!" Rhea Azaan stared at Hutson.
"I know, but you'll really want to talk to your friend. He's at the gate and they aren't letting him in on your orders." Hutson said.
Her whole face lit. "let him in."
Kiaan Tilden ran across the compound and into the company. He waited impatiently for the elevator to stop and when it did, he rushed into her office. He was worried she might be angry because he didn't pick up her calls last night.
"Am sorry I…"
"Why did you leave home?" Rhea Azaan asked.
"Who told you I left? Were you there?"
"Yeah… I decided to give you a surprise visit only to find that you're not in." Rhea Azaan stood up from her chair.
"Princess… did you miss me?" Kiaan asked a question which caught her unprepared.
"Yes, I do. You're my friend, right?" Rhea Azaan replied.
"And, do you love me?"
Today, Kiaan Tilden was in a simple sky-blue shirt and a navy-blue trousers. His long lashes trembled as he blinked slowly while his hand ran in his hair roughly. Few strands of hair hang in his face making him even more eye catching but to Rhea Azaan, he was just a friend she met accidentally.
"Never mind… can we go somewhere? I want to show you something." Kiaan Tilden said.
"Sure…" how could she refuse when she was bored just a few minutes ago because he didn't show up?
A convoy of cars left for the orphanage with Rhea Azaan and Kiaan Tilden in the same car. Kiaan silently looked out, enjoying the view of the city as they drove off to the lonely orphanage that stood alone. That's where he stayed during his first fifteen years on earth.
"We're finally here." Kiaan Tilden got out of the car and stretched. Even Hutson had to admit that he was handsome.
"If he had money, he would be a celebrity by now." He thought as he looked at him.
As if he can read his mind, Kiaan Tilden looked at him with those distant eyes as if saying… just wait and see. I'll have money someday.
"This is where I grew up during my first fifteen years before Mr. and Mrs. Finlay adopted me. All those years, I can never forget a place I once called home. I have my little kids here and if I one day get the money I dream of, I'll surely have them stay with me." Kiaan Tilden said.
"How is the general environment here?" Rhea Azaan looked around the small compound.
"Those it's a little bit compressed, I find it a better place to be. Big aunty tries her best to have the kids here get what they want without the help of anyone else. I do help at times when am well off, especially making sure my kids get the best." Kiaan Tilden said.
"Your kids? You have kids already?" for some reasons, she was getting jealous.
"Actually, they are all kids who reside here under the providence of big aunty. They are a total of over a hundred kids here but six of them belong to me. I've been visiting them for a while because I needed friends especially from a place I grew up. Come on, you can meet them. I can tell you they are a great company." Kiaan explained with a certain happiness in him that Rhea Azaan detected.
Just when they wanted to walk into the orphanage building, voices of the twins stopped them.
"Dad!" Carly and Camila ran to hug their beloved dad.
"Dad, grand pa Austin was here. He asked if you came. Where were you?" Camila sked.
"Dad is looking for a better place to have his kids stay, ok?" Kiaan roughened their shiny black hair. "You haven't seen my visitor."
"We are sorry goddess." The kids bowed in respect.
"Ooh my! You're very beautiful." Rhea Azaan couldn't help exclaiming at the twins.
"Thanks Goddess. We don't have anything good to offer you here but… we will invite you in. Can you spare time and look at our works?" Carly asked blinking cutely that Rhea Azaan smiled.
"Yeah… I promise."
"Where are the boys?" Kiaan asked. Ray and Rex were also twins; twelve years old. Harris and Henry were twins and the eldest of them, fourteen while Carly and Camila were ten years old.
"Ray and Rex accompanied aunty to get what we want. We're from the mall and Henry and Harris aren't here, they left saying they needed to find what they need." Camila said.
"Materials for what?" Rhea Azaan asked.
"For your surprise goddess. Aren't you in love with our dad?" Carly asked, looking at Rhea Azaan with a face full of expectations. Kiaan Tilden also looked at Rhea Azaan who smiled awkwardly.
"Umm… actually Carly…" Kiaan Tilden wanted to pull Carly to his side but she held tightly onto Rhea Azaan's dress as she maintained eye contact.
"Mmh… I love your dad…" whether it was to please Carly or she said it out of her real feelings, everyone was surprised except the twins who hugged each other happily. The guards murmured among themselves. Kiaan Tilden smiled proudly.
"If you love our dad, that means we have to prepare something good as a present during your engagement and marriage because we want you to get married soon so that we can live together as a family." Camila said.
Rhea Azaan looked at the happy twins and smiled. They were too happy to be turned down and she didn't want to disappoint them and make them sad.
"Dad!"
"Daddy!"
The voices came as the twins showed up.
"My boys." Kiaan held out his hands and hugged them. Now, his whole family was here. His children, his company. He was too happy. The only thing that made him happy were the kids, being with Rhea Azaan and her current confession to the young girls.
"Goddess, welcome." They bowed respectfully.
"Thank you. What are your names?" Rhea Azaan grew up with just her parents, no relative, no company and here she was with a total of six children, she was very happy. The twins said their names.
"Well… well… well… we're going in now… goddess has been standing here since we came." Kiaan said to the twins.
Carly walked to the left, Camila to the right, Ray and Rex led the way and the big boys came last. Kiaan and Rhea Azaan were trapped between the twins looking like a real couple on a wedding day. Hutson couldn't help but flash a few pictures of that nice scene before them.
Evening…
"Thanks for showing me around a place you feel so comfortable to be. I like the twins and can come visiting them if I get free time." Rhea Azaan said.
"They are really amazing. If anything happens to them, I'll really blame myself." Kiaan Tilden said. "Just drop me here, I'll find my way back."
