For the past couple of weeks, Kurmara's brother, Eun, kept helping her use her Quirks before helping with the control of her emotions. "Alright, since you know how to use both your Quirks now, it's time to help you maintain your emotions so your other Quirk doesn't get too out of control or so you don't end up hurting yourself again." He voiced and she nodded. "Got it. But wait, how the hell am I supposed to control my emotions?" She queried, thinking for a moment. "Like this," he suddenly used his Quirk on her which sent her flying backward. "Hey, what the hell was that for?" She asked as she stood up and walked back over to him. "I want to try and get you angry to see how well you can keep your sudden strength Quirk under wraps," Eun said and she sighed. "I can keep my anger under control, but I don't know if I can keep my strength in control for that. You remember what happened the last time?" "I do and that's exactly why we need to do this. It counts towards your training." He voiced which made her sigh again.
"Alright, but what happens when I do get angry? What if that strength doesn't come out and gets locked up again?" Kurmara quizzed and he thought for a moment. "Hm, then I guess we can try to make it where you can choose when it comes out." She tilted her head and he rubbed his face. "Who am I talking to? Okay, look- I'm going to teach you how to use your strength when you need to so that way, you can only be the smaller mad emotions instead of being pissed, understand?" He asked and she made a face before nodding which made Eun laugh. "Alright, now that you know what I meant, I need to know something as well," he began. "What is it?" "Can you do a pushup?" Her brother asked and she shook her head. "Okay, what about a pull-up?" "No." "Can you lift weights?" He queried a final time, hopeful, but she shook her head again. "Can't you do anything like that?" He sighed, slightly frustrated that his sister couldn't do any of those things he asked. "I haven't done anything like that before so, no. Especially the push-ups, pull-ups, and weights. Hello, have you seen me?"
Kurmara motioned to her entire body and he stared at her before rubbing the back of his head, letting out another sigh. "Well, this isn't going to work. We'll have you do all of those things starting tomorrow," he voiced, walking past her and she had a confused look on her face as she stared at his back. "What do you mean?" "Ah, I mean we're going to help you gain some muscle." She gasped after he said that. "Are you calling me fat?!" Eun snorted after her question but she was serious. "No. I'm just saying that's what you need to do in order to stay fit. Not to mention, it would help you slim down a bit." She began to hit him and he laughed. "That's so rude! You're so rude!" "I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" He laughed as she hit him again until one hit was harder than the rest and he looked at her, seeing that she was angry. "Hey, what did we talk about when it comes to your emotions? Mainly your anger?" He questioned, rubbing his arm and she let out a huff. "To make sure it's under control. But I can't help it if you said something so rude." Kurmara responded, stomping past him and he saw that she left deep footprints in the grass which made him shake his head.
"Kurmara, I'm sorry I said that, but we both know it's true. We can't just do fighting, emotion, and Quirk training. We also need to train your body too so you don't hurt yourself." He said when he followed her into the house. "I know, but you could've just said that instead of insulting my body." "Hey, I wasn't trying to-" He groaned and she smirked before turning to him, trying to muster up the most serious look she could which worked because her brother sighed again. Kurmara tried her hardest not to laugh at him because she loved messing with him. "I'm sorry that I insulted you, I didn't mean to. I just thought we could try adding something else into the mix instead of the same stuff we usually do, you know what I mean?" He explained and she thought for a moment before the smile she tried not to show grew on her face and he squinted at her before scoffing. "Are you kidding me?" He blew her hair out of her face, making her giggle. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. I just had to make you apologize again, not to mention, it's too much fun to mess around with you."
She laughed and he shook his head before laughing as well. "You got me good. I thought you were still angry." "I mean, I'm still a little upset, but I agree with you. It wouldn't hurt to add some stuff to the training." She sighed, running a hand through her hair, bangs falling back down over her eyes. "But wait, how will we throw that in if we already have a bunch of different things? I still have school so I don't know when we'd be able to-" "I already have something figured out, so don't worry." Eun interrupted and she rolled her eyes. He had this planned from the start... why am I not surprised. "Alright, whatever plan you have, make sure it doesn't-" "Oh, I made sure that it won't interrupt anything that has to do with your classes." He responded, the biggest smile on his face but she just groaned. "I feel like you're having too much fun with this.." "I am because I get to help you and train you. Two for the price of one instead of either-or." "Uh-huh.. alright. Now, if you excuse me, I need to shower because of how many times you tossed me around."
She shot him a look and he rubbed the back of his head. "Yeah, sorry about that." She rolled her eyes and turned away from him, heading into her room to get a new pair of clothes before she headed into the bathroom to wash up.

Once she was dressed and in her room, Kurmara sat on her bed and looked through her alt clothing sketchbook. A few designs she looked at longer than the others with a sigh, lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice her brother walking into her room. "Kurmara," he called her name but she was still looking at one of the designs which made him sigh, roll up the papers he had, and smacked her on the head which caused her to look up at him, covering her head. "What did you do that for?" She asked, squinting at him. "You weren't answering, so I used the alternative," Eun said with a chuckle and Kurmara hit him with one of her pillows. "What do you need?" She queried and he handed her the papers he rolled up. She looked through them before looking back up at him. "A schedule?" "Yes. You will follow this entire schedule to the final letter so that way you're completely trained and ready for the entrance exam." She looked through the few pages in her hands, taking notice that there were certain times she had to do training, the food she had to eat, and a specific time to go to bed.
"I'm not going to lie, this will be hard to do. I won't be as nice as usual so that way you don't think I'm going easy on you. Think you can do this?" Her brother asked, crossing his arms and she looked up at him with determination. "Of course I can. Throw everything you've got at me." She voiced which made him smile. "Alright. Don't regret it later." And just like that, Kurmara's ten months of training began immediately the day after her brother gave her the schedule. He had her training her two Quirks with difficult attacks and defenses he did with her. He even helped her get angry and control her strength albeit being very difficult because her emotions kept getting the better of her. For her fitness, he gave her the weights he already had and even had her carry him while trying to jog to see how well she could carry something without trying to get angry. "Come on, you got this!" He coached as she tried to walk faster than she currently was. "You know.. you're pretty heavy..." She huffed which made her brother roll his eyes.
"You know, I've lost some weight from my own training, you know. How else should I be able to pick up and carry you?" She stopped walking, her legs shaking a little which caused her brother to sigh and drop out of her arms, standing in front of her as she caught her breath and tried to stop her legs from shaking. "Why the hell.. do I have to carry you?" She managed to ask. "I wanted to see how well you could carry something heavier than the weights I gave you. Seems like you can barely do that." He pulled out his phone and took a few pictures of her. "But, I thought those were helping?" She looked up at him with a concerned look and he shook his head. "You know, it takes more than a day to be able to do what I'm able to do. Besides, I don't want you to rely on your strength to pick something heavy up and carry it over your head." "What do you mean?" Eun rolled his eyes and put his phone back in his pocket before walking over to their car. "Most people can lift this with at least thirty-two or so people to lift a car, especially if they don't have a strength Quirk like you." He said as he proceeded to bend and lift the car with one hand, tilting it on its side which made Kurmara gape at him.
"You can do this too if you don't turn to your Quirk." He carefully set the car back to how it was before walking back over to his sister, putting a hand on her shoulder. "I also want you to be able to get that strength without any emotions attached to it, do you get what I mean?" He asked and she nodded her head as she slowly stood up. "Yes. I'll work harder than I already am in order to lift things like you and the car. Maybe the car." She smiled which earned her a chuckle. "Good. Now, let's try again. Let's do another lap. But this time, try to keep yourself straight." He voiced as she picked him up in her arms again.

One day during her training for her emotions, Kurmara fell asleep in the middle of it which caused her to fall face-first into the grass, making her wake up immediately and let out a groan in pain as she rolled onto her side. "Come on sis, just because you can close your eyes doesn't mean you can fall asleep." Eun joked as he walked over to her, extending a hand for her to grab as he helped her to her feet. "Sorry," she mumbled as she rubbed her face, feeling the soreness go throughout her body as she tried to wake herself up. "You went to bed at the time I scheduled for you, right?" He questioned, crossing his arms. "Yes, despite it being weird for you to give me that even though I'm not a child." She responded, shaking her head so she could focus. "Are you sure?" "Yes. It's just the training is all." "I told you that it would be hard, didn't I?" He chuckled and she pursed her lips. "Exactly. We can take a break if you want so that way you don't-" "No. I can do this. I'll just make sure to focus entirely that way I won't fall asleep again." Kurmara interrupted, running a hand through her hair and he rolled his eyes.
"Emphasis on fall." "Come on, let's continue. I want to see how well I've got my emotional status under control." She then stepped a few feet away from him and he stared at her for a few seconds before letting out a sigh. "I hope you're not trying to overwork yourself." He said to himself as he got ready to use his Quirk on her.

It had been seven months since they began Kurmara's training and so far, everything seemed to have been going well for the fourteen-year-old. Until they suddenly weren't. One day, in the middle of testing her using her wind Quirk to go into the air, she got very lightheaded and missed trying to land from the height she was, causing her to fall from how high she was and Eun had to catch her just before she hit the ground. "Hey, you only have three months until the exam, you're not staying focused. Are you going to let all of the work we've done go to waste?" He set her down once he landed and she let out a groan, struggling to stand back up and that's when he noticed. "Wait a second, you're overworked. What the hell Ku-mae? That schedule was supposed to help with your emotions and Quirks. It was to make sure that the progress made was fast and easy to manage." He scolded as she continued to try and move, trying to use her Quirk as well but she was still on the ground. "If you're like this, it means you just said 'fuck the plan' and wanted to do more than you could handle. That's not going to have the effect we wanted to have, now is it?" He stood up and crossed his arms as he looked down at his sister.
"I... I need to do more..." Kurmara groaned as she kept trying. "It's not just for UA.. I... I have to make sure.. that I have what it takes... to become a hero.." She was finally able to sit up and look her brother in the face, Eun seeing the determination, persistence, and dedication on her face. He looked at her before giving a chuckle and picking her up in his arms. "You know, you sure do remind me a lot of myself when I was growing up. I never gave up on learning the things Dad wanted to teach me, especially since Mom didn't like it when I always got hurt. You have the determination to not give up, like a Hayashi." He smiled at her exhausted form. "But even so, there's no need to rush the great progress. You don't have to worry, I'll help you get back on course. Leave it to your ol' big brother to adjust that plan for you." He laughed as he carried her to the car. "I'm not a child.." Kurmara voiced with a huff which made him laugh again.
