Aaron looked at me, his eyes going wide for a bit, then slowly reducing till they were mere slits.
"Well..I..you told me."
My expression matched his. "What?"
"Well, it's just that, while you passed out, I..."
Suddenly there was a loud sound coming from the kitchen.
"What was that?" I momentarily forgot about him and ran to the kitchen, only to find some stray puppy running around.
I knelt to it and patted it for a while, before it suddenly dissipated, right in front of my eyes.
I fell back on my butt ungracefully, my eyes wide. Was Kyran playing games with me?
I stormed off to the room and landed two fists on the door, screaming my head off. "Why did you bring in a fake dog to scare me? What's in it for you?"
It was silent. I rolled my eyes, heavy on my frustration of not even being able to wrap my head around everything and the kiss that had happened earlier.
