Chapter 18 - It's Getting Better?

Silvia slowly moved her ankle and then gently put weight on it. It was totally better. She glanced around no longer seeing Kronos. She remembered what he had said...What did he mean "He didn't deserve her"? Why was he even helping her? She started to get the potion but then decided to try climbing a nearby tree. Maybe if she got higher she could see where she was. There was a giggle behind her but when she turned she saw nothing. "I wouldn't do that if I were you..." an unmistakable voice chided. "Bunny?" Silvia gasped. When she turned back Bunny was in her face staring at her with her green eyes. "Your mother taught you nothing!" She exclaimed. Silvia shook her head, "What are you talking about?" "As the eclipse approaches your magic will get stronger..." Bunny giggled, "Let me see!" She grabbed Silvia's foot making her fall to the ground with a thud. She rubbed it like it was a treasure and Silvia yanked her foot away. "Not bad for your first time..." Bunny smirked. Silvia's eyes grew wide, "The sisters!" Bunny rolled her eyes, "That's just a term! I'm not your aunt child!" "Why are you here?" Silvia wheezed as she pulled herself back up. "I felt your surge! An eclipse is the only time a witch can transfer power. You have two days!" Bunny giggled again. "What?I'm not...my mom's not..." Silvia trembled. Bunny clicked her tongue, "You won't miss it... You can ask your mother if you want..." She then complained, "Your mates back! You have two days!" Her eyes glowed and she disappeared in a puff of smoke. Silvia was coughing as Kronos ran up just wearing his jeans. He growled, "What does the witch want? Why are you up?" She took a few deep breaths of fresh air before looking into his silver eyes. They were mad and worried. "Apparently, I'm half witch! Bunny wants my magic!" Silvia yelled tossing her arms in the air. Kronos shook his head, "No, your half wolf... Bunny wasn't the witch I got the blade from." "What about my mom?" Silvia asked getting her phone from her pocket and pulling up a photo. This deep in the woods there was no signal but she could still do that. Kronos looked at it for awhile and then shook his head, "That's not her either...but that is the sister." He then let his eyes roam over her and smiled broadly. "What?" She asked looking herself over. "You are special... Half witch and half wolf...That could end the curse." He smiled pulling her to his body. Silvia looked at him confused, "What do you mean?" He nuzzled her ear and she felt her knees go weak. "While wolves have mostly sons... Witches have mostly daughters..." He purred trailing kisses on her neck. Her breath hitched as sparks erupted on her skin as his teeth grazed her. He then pulled away and she sunk to the ground. He was breathing heavily and started running his hands through his hair. "Even a mating mark might not keep you safe!" He exclaimed his eyes looking wild. "Mating mark!?" She shrieked. He stopped and looked at her with sadness, "You don't know it yet but baby you are mine and I am yours! When your wolf wakes..." "I'm not turning!" She yelled. His eyes glowed and then darkened into blackness as his fangs extended. "Yes, you are..."
