Chapter 22 - Witches and Werewolves

Kronos was practically purring in her ear as Silvia turned around in his arms. "Is all this true?" She asked and he kissed her forehead. "Mostly... We aren't all bad, though, run by lust as she said. If you saw a pup you'd see the Innocence, wonder, and awe in their eyes.You met Everest and he's not a monster." He said while gently moving a strand of hair behind her ear. His eyes were full of an emotion that took her breath away. Raven scoffed, "Of course not! Your just all puppy dogs!" Kronos then snapped his eyes towards Raven with a growl. It rumbled through Silvia's body as he held her close. "And you have nothing but best intentions!" He snapped. Raven laughed throwing her arms in the air. "I am her blood!" She yelled. "And I am her mate!" He growled. Silvia's mom jumped between them making both of their expressions turn to shock. "Enough! This is about Silvia not this stupid war and whatever is between you! Raven, I never wanted Ryder dead! He knew we were better with peace! I even loved him! I didn't want them taking her from me that was all! I sure as hell won't have either of you!" She yelled and took Silvia from Kronos' embrace. Silvia laughed, "What choice in this do I have? I'm a werewolf... I'm a witch..." Her mother then placed her hands on Silvia's cheeks. "You have every choice! You can be what you want! You can even walk away from all this! You can be human and forget everything!" She said and then turned her attention to Raven, "We have a contract!" Silvia felt a tear sliding down her cheek, "I don't know... I have a brother...I have a mate...Whatever that really means. This is all new to me. Magic is new..." Her mother sighed, "Ask anything and it's yours." "I wanted to know my dad...I wanted to understand...Now, I want to forget..." Silvia cried. A whine came from Kronos as Her body shuddered on her mother's shoulder. Raven tutted, "You want to forget? You can have the world! You could have the cosmos!" She then stomped outside. "I don't want this for her..." Kronos whispered as he soon followed. Silvia wondered what would happen to him as she watched him leave. "You could be happy as a wolf..." Her mother whispered. "Does turning hurt?" Silvia asked and her mother's eyes grew wide. "I hear it's like ripping your own skin off..." Her mother whispered back. Silvia laughed, "That's better than ripping your heart to shreds." Her mother then wiped her tears away, "Whatever you choose... I will not let anyone force you. You have your pick. I won't let Bunny take your magic. I won't let them force you to turn. I didn't want to let you come here but knew it was only a matter of time." She placed a kiss on top of Silvia's head as she walked out the door. Silvia gathered her thoughts and her feelings while coming to a decision... She went through the doorway seeing them all waiting there. "Alright! Turn me!" She yelled.
