Chapter 25 - Naked in the woods

"Just relax baby..." Kronos said as she focused on getting her human body back. She stretched her paws as far as she could while closing her eyes. She envisioned her fingers stretching and could feel the earth under her. She kept stretching until she heard a growl behind her. Opening her eyes she saw her hands dug in the dirt. As she started to move her arms back she saw fur sprout on them and then back into her skin. She looked over to Kronos and saw his eyes glowing. He smiled and she saw fangs. A gasp came out at the sight and he pointed her towards the stream. She could faintly make out her own reflection. She had glowing eyes of her own but hers were more golden while his were silver. She moved her fingers to her mouth and felt her own fangs. They were sharp and surprised her. As panic started to swell she felt the heat from Kronos as he moved closer. Tingles erupted on her skin as her heart began to pound. He then kissed her neck and a moan came out. She turned around and suddenly became very aware of how naked they were. She went to cover herself and he smirked. "You're beautiful." He whispered and she felt herself blush. "Stay here and I'll get us some clothes" he said kissing her neck once more. A high pitched whine came from her as he pulled away and he chuckled. He was gone for seconds but it seemed much longer as she had the strongest desire to follow him. He had jogger shorts on and threw a shirt to her. When she pulled it on she heard another growl coming from the tree line. Kronos quickly jumped in front of her and she leaned into his back smelling his delicious scent. A black wolf with green eyes approached. Kronos began to growl as the wolf shifted. "Uncle? This is unexpected..." Emmett said beginning to circle them. He peered at Silvia with his eyes a glow. Kronos growled louder with a sneer as Emmett let his eyes rove over Silvia's body. Feeling uncomfortable she tried to tug the shirt further down. Emmett breathed deeply, "She smelt good as a human but this is definitely better. Pity we're not mates..." "Leave now! Nephew!" Kronos snarled. Emmett smiled, "Thanks for saving Everest the trouble... Now I can inform the council of our new she wolf." "She's my mate so, off limits!" Kronos growled. Silvia heard a purr getting louder in her mind but then a loud growl at Emmett's next words. "You're a Rouge Uncle...they won't recognize your mating." Emmett then smirked with a mischievous look in his eyes."See ya around, Sweetness!" Emmett winked and then turned back the way he came shifting into his wolf. Kronos was shaking with anger as he clenched and unclenched his hands. She placed her hand on his shoulder and felt him gradually calming down."How did he..." She started to ask but Kronos interrupted, "Your scent is stronger now. The cabin is only about a half mile behind us.They don't live far from it. He must be out for a run and noticed us. We should head back before others do as well." "What did he mean?" She whispered and he turned and gently ran the back of his finger against her cheek. "Don't worry about it. You're mine." He said gently and placed a kiss on her forehead. She heard herself purring and Kronos chuckled, "Come on baby." Silvia could see Raven and her mother standing on the porch but they obviously couldn't see them as her mother paced. "What's taking them? We should search instead of just waiting here!" Her mother said. Raven chided, "Relax, they'll come back when their ready." Kronos ran his hand up Silvia's arm and she stopped walking. "How are you feeling baby?" He asked softly. "A little overwhelmed but physically a whole lot better." She giggled. "The first shift is the worst for half bloods...I'm sorry you went through that." He said looking into her eyes. "How was yours?" She asked and he smiled, "Full bloods are born as wolves baby. We don't have to sprout fresh fur. We shift back and forth for our first years and learn to be one with our wolves." She looked at him confused. "You were fighting with your wolf when it's more of a partnership. She just woke up so she's fighting with you too. I can explain more but we should head inside to stop them from worrying." He chuckled as they started walking again.
