Chapter 1 - Prologue

HER:

A woman in her thirties was on her knees in front of her father. Her eyes were filled with stress and tears. She was so exhausted that she wanted to kill the child in her womb right away. She had no desire to have a child in the first place! "Father... I'll do anything, just please help me get rid of this monster in my belly." she said, crying and begging with tears. Her father observed her expressions first to see if she really was determined to kill the baby in her womb before he answered. "Good choice. You shouldn't bore some bastard child. It's a disgrace in our family," her father stated flatly, as if the baby has no life and no importance.

HIS:

A woman in her twenties touches her belly with her eyes full of love. She whispered some love words, and you can see how much she adored the baby in her womb at the time. "I'll name you Conrad. You'll be a brave child and a good ruler when you grow up. I'll make sure you'll be happy and free like a bird, unlike me, and you'll live in a peaceful world that you can enjoy. I'll make sure that happens. Trust your mother's word, my child, " she promised, caressing the bulging baby in her belly.
