Elyse has accepted that she has no control over what is happening to her right now. She hadn't seen the prince in an a while, but that's not important right now. The sun had already come up. The sunrise had passed, and it was time for the knights to depart. Elyse was just waiting for them to ask her a question or let her do something.
Elyse realized that if there is an existing prince, there must also be an existing palace! And she can hardly wait to see it. However, the mystery remained unsolved. The question that had been on her mind for some time was how she had met a prince when the prince should not be met carelessly even for nobles! And how did they happen to cross paths in an expected way? Is there any connection between them? Or is it purely coincidental? In any case, Elyse would have to use the crown prince if she needed to. Even if she committed crimes here, she can easily flee once she learned how to return to her world. But there's no way she'll do it if there aren't any pressing issues to deal with. For the time being, she will simply enjoy and observe whatever happens to her. She once wished to be free of her family, and this must be an answer to her wish. But everything went as planned, and she can't seem to accept her new life.
Rouge had another talk with Elyse. "We need to find out more about you. We can't just let you go like that. You could be paid to assassinate his highness or whatever." Elyse's mouth twitched, irritated by the accusations they were creating since earlier. "What the fuck are you talking about?" Elyse asks, her head tilted. Her foul mouth had reached its patience.
"What?" Fortunately, the man in front of her didn't hear her. Elyse didn't respond to avoid any bloody arguments, but she did ask. "What will happen to me then?" she wondered, still unsure whether these people could be trusted. It's not that she doesn't trust them; she just needs to trust them for the time being in order to survive.
"You have no right to ask," Elyse was told angrily by the cold Rouge. Elyse simply sighed heavily to calm herself. This new world she had found herself in was already unsettling. Then, as a result of her bad luck, she met these psychopaths. Once again, how did she end up being apprehended by them? She could have met better men than these!
Elyse was led to a less-than-stellar carriage, which meant a standard carriage. She thought the knights were incredible because of their glamorous attire, but her awe has faded as quickly as light after seeing the normal or possibly the carriage that appears to be in danger of being wrecked in just one step.
No such thing as a knight in shining armor exists. A prince does, but we shouldn't expect much from him. The Disney Princesses are a ludicrous farce! She simply cursed the innocent carraige to relieve her rage and didn't mind that someone was sitting inside. When Rouge motioned for her to do so, she slowly climbed the carriage.
Everyone is getting ready to leave. Elyse noticed the carriage driving slowly until she could no longer see the forest. She has no idea where they are going to abandon her or what they are going to do to her. But, first and foremost, the carriage is useless. This is the first time in her life that she has experienced an extremely bumpy ride on the way to 'who knows where they will go.'
While traveling, Elyse's mood gradually improved, but don't forget about the carriage. She could enjoy the cold breeze on her barely-there skin because the horse's pace wasn't too fast. She wasn't as cold as she had been because the piece of fabric was still wrapped around her body. And she doesn't mind because the man in front of her doesn't talk the entire ride. It's better not to speak because she might say something stupid. She happened to notice the man across from her and thought it was strange.
Elyse was just a little puzzled. How come a stranger, rather than the prince, is sitting comfortably inside the carriage? How does a wealthy man ride in an unsightly and bumpy carriage? Elyse can tell that the man's clothes are expensive because of the soft fabric and how fabulous they appear. But she remained silent because it was none of her business, and she remembered what Rouge had said earlier. [Keep a close eye on her. Assassinate her right away if she makes any unusual movements.] She is still adored by her life. She genuinely does.
She was enjoying the scenery to relax when she began to hear noises from the city. They're still a long way away from the noises, but Elyse believes they are getting closer to it. The loud noises became more audible as they got closer. The people with Elyse started putting on their robes. She didn't seek clarification as to why, as it wasn't her concern. Nonetheless, they didn't wear it to draw attention to themselves. It's probably normal in this world after seeing some people wearing the same thing.
"Move quietly. Identify the threat. Execute on the spot." said the man riding the horse and leading everyone. Elyse recognized the cold voice. It's the crown prince, she's certain. But he was wearing a robe and a hood, so she couldn't see his bare face, and she was also behind the prince's horse. To Elyse, or even for the knights, the crown prince's voice sounded very cold as if we are in the cementary. Why is she always in the company of cold guys?
The two knights left because of the crown prince's order. Rouge was one of the five remaining knights. His order was interpreted by Elyse. Why is it that execution is always included in orders?
After some time, they finally entered the city. The city was a lively place. Many stores were lined up on both sides of the street. Everything is new to Elyse's eyes, including the people's clothing and the store construction. She appears to have stepped back in time. However, it was the one in the heart of the capital that drew Elyse's attention. Elyse noticed the palace through the carriage window. She had anticipated seeing a palace after meeting a prince, but not like this! It's gorgeous and glamorous! Despite the fact that Elyse was a long distance away, it drew a lot of attention. The opulent palace is still visible to her. The palace was massive in size!
The castle she saw in fairytales paled in comparison!
