Elyse looked up to the bright night sky just to calm her racing heart. Her chest went up and down. The adrenaline rush she was feeling earlier was still in her nerves. She was constantly envious of the stars in the night sky. How could they have the freedom and shines brightly in the dark night. She want to have freedom too. Elyse felt as if the stars themselves were mocking her. She wish to the sparkling stars who shines brightly at the night sky that she too, can have a time where she can brightly the most.
The sky was very beautiful. [I wish I could shine with them and gave life to my dark life. I wish I could have a chance to be free. And to do everything that I wish to do. I wish... someone would grant this wish of mine. Please...]
Instead of saying how much the night sky are beautiful, these are the words that came out from her mouth. "How dare you make fun of my life, stars? Do you feel sorry for me because you're free and I'm not?" Swearing at the innocent stars, Elyse said. Elyse decided to walk along the beach to relieve her mental stress. And, thankfully, the cool breeze helped her mind to relax. She wasn't drunk, just a little tipsy, and her mind is also cleared now.
The silence engulfed her inhibitions.
Elyse looked around and realized that she was too far away now from the many people who were having a good time. That's why it's not noisy anymore. She looks out at the enticing sea. The stars brightness reflects on the seawater. It's so sparkly that it's nice to watch and stare at.
If the sea could talk, it would probably say, 'Come on, let's get you wet.'
She was tempted to swim right now because she hadn't gone swimming earlier as she was just drinking for the whole night. So, she didn't hesitate and just slowly walked towards the calm sea. Elyse shivered when the seawater touched her two feet. It's so cold that it's causing her tipsiness to fade away. She kept walking until the cold sea was on her shoulder. The cold seawater felt nice in her body. While staying at the cold sea, she started to have some thoughts. Right now, she was deeply concerned that she never took a single vacation since she began working.
So after Elyse resign, she will really travel around the world. And die peacefully. She began to swim faster and welcoming the calm waves. She took a dive and began to feel good. Seems like her body really wants to feel cold to feel good. She closed her eyes and feel the cold breeze. After staying at the sea for quite some time, Elyse already felt very cold that her body couldn't take it anymore and enough is enough so she decided to dive up now.
But unlike the bright stars of the night sky, she was greeted by the sunrise. Huh? Everything didn't sunk in on her mind yet. It's already morning? How long did she stay in the sea? Did she fall asleep? Like what? Fall asleep in the sea? Are you serious?
Elyse looked around and realized she wasn't in the sea, but in a lake, instead! Wait, wait, wait... "This is obviously not the resort!" Because of the unfamiliar surroundings, Elyse forced herself to calm down. But she can't seem to calm down! [How am I supposed to relax in this strange situation?!]
She's in an unusual location, in the middle of nowhere! This is insane! "Is this a dream? This is such a strange dream, it looks real!" she exclaimed, her gaze wandered around the place. She can only see the endless swaths of massive trees. She began to check herself. She's still wearing her two-piece bikini, but she's not wearing the see-through dress. And with bare feet. A cool breeze caressed her almost naked body. It's also bitterly cold!
She looked more closely around her. Even though her eyes have traveled a long distance, she can only see massive trees around her. Obviously, she's in a forest she's never been to before. Elyse hugged herself because of the sudden cold breeze that touched her bare skin, her lips and entire body trembled.
She decided to go for a walk and see if there was any way out. And, fortunately! Elyse noticed a smoke that appeared to come from a burning firewood after only a short walk Many questions raced through her mind, but she only wanted to get them out for now. Elyse dashed towards the smoke, despite the fact that the stone piercing her barefoot hurt her feet even more. Her heart is pounding with positivity and hope.
Until she finally arrived... and noticed a lot of people dressed strangely. They are seven people dressed in silly outfits, similar to those seen in historical dramas. At first, Elyse was at a loss for words and accidentally blurted out, "Uhm, Are you filming somewhere?" They all turn their heads at the same time. They were eating when they noticed Elyse. She smiled awkwardly as a result of the déjà vu reactions she received. They abruptly stood up and caused a commotion when everything became evident to them.
'The goddess emerged! Call upon the Lord!'
'The goddess revealed herself! This is very fortunate!'
'Act quickly! Try to find the Lord!'
Instead of responding, the people, or more likely knights, began to whisper to one another. And because they are preoccupied with their own world, Elyse had the opportunity to carefully observe how they looked. They were dressed in era attire. Exactly the outfit she saw every time Elyse watched fantasy and fairytales as a child.
She was about to say something when one of them drew a sword and thrust the tip of it against her neck. Elyse froze and couldn't think of anything to say. She was completely stunned. [Huh? What the hell is going on right now?]
"State your name, you don't appear to be a citizen of the Empire," one of them asked coldly. It was a man with emerald hair that's currently wearing a white knight's uniform. He has a cold and tired expression on his face, which adds to his allure. She nearly smacked herself. This is not the time to be thinking in this manner!
He's clearly asking for Elyse's name, but she can't speak. She could pee right in front of him because of panic. Can't he just forfeit the sword and talk to her calmly? Elyse was still speechless and trembling as she stood in front of this group of knights who were stunned and kept staring at her as if she were a mythical goddess. She wished she could respond, but she couldn't. How can she respond when the tip of the sword is still in her neck and slowly piercing it?
"Speak, or my sword will do the talking," he said coldly again. After a few minutes, Elyse had still not responded. She gathered some courage and put her hand slowly into the sword and touched it with her trembling hands. She looked at the man in front of her and shook her head. Asking to put away the sword first.
[Would you mind not pointing that dangerous thing in my neck so we can talk calmly?] Elyse's eyes says to the person in front of her that don't seem to understand what she was implying!
"What's all the commotion about?"
