Kai stepped into room 220, with a stack of papers. Hisoki had called him last night, asking if he would be the teacher for that day, since Hisoki would be out. When Kai had asked why he was, Hisoki's reasoning was; "Kai, I trust you. You are responsible and the most understanding." That made Kai smile, and say yes to teaching for the day.
Mago, who was sitting in Hisoki's chair, looked up. He smiled when he saw Kai. "Do you want to hang out this weekend?" Mago asked, setting his phone down to give Kai his full attention. The student didn't have anything else to do. "Where do you wanna go?" Kai asked, placing the papers on the desk. The college students sit up, as Kai leans on the desk, their faces inches apart.
"Uh, are we interrupting something?"
Mago sighs, looking over. Yoshi and Baker stood at the doorway, staring at them. Kai steps back, shaking his head. "No, you're not. We were just talking." He said calmly, shrugging. Yoshi hums, not believing a thing Kai said, yet still walking into the classroom, Baker following behind. Wafi steps him, a slight smile on his face. Something is wrong.
"What did you do?" Baker asked dully. Wafi gasped. "Nothing! I swear!" He said, huffing. Wafi walked up to Kai, hugging him. Kai hesitantly hugged back. Why was Wafi acting like this? "Did something happen?" Mago asked, looking over at Wafi, who shook his head. "Then why are you acting like that?" Baker asked. Kai hugged Wafi worriedly. "You wanna talk about it outside?" He asked, so only Wafi could hear. The brunette still shook his head.
"I couldn't eat lunch because I forgot to get money." He cried helplessly. Kai rolled his eyes, shoving Wafi off of him. Harley walked in, looking at the group. "What's wrong with him?" Harley asked Yoshi, though the boy didn't answer, seemingly spaced out. He chewed on his lip, leaning his head on his arm. "Yoshi, stop biting your lip. You'll bleed." Kai warned.
That got Yoshi's attention, the boy looking over at Kai. "Sorry." He mumbles. Baker frowns, looking over to him. "What's wrong?" He asked, laying hand on Yoshi's shoulder. Yoshi lightly shrugged. "Nothing bad, just- math test." He mumbled. Baker hummed. No one liked math, not even Kai. Well, he tolerated it.
"I can tutor you."
Kai looked over at Harley, who was leaning on the door frame. His messenger bag hanging on his shoulder. Yoshi looked up, eyes wide. "Really? You would do that?" Yoshi asked, shocked. Harley was nice to them, at least nicer than before. But he was still always very distant to everyone, well besides Hisoki. Harley nodded. "Yeah, of course. Are you failing? Or is it just a test?" He asked, unpacking his bag. Everyone was silent as he smiled.
"Are you sick?" Wafi asked warily. Kai rolled his eyes, reaching over to hit him. "No, I'm not. Why would you think that?" Harley asked. "Nothing, it's nothing," Baker answered simply. "I'll text you my address, ok? Come over at eight with your backpack." Harley planned simply. He sat back down. "Wait, where's Hisoki?" Mago asked, looking around the room. "He's not here today. He put me in charge." Kai answered calmly. Everyone, besides Harley and Kai, gasped, all for their own separate reasons. "Really? Why didn't he put me in charge! I've known the longest!" Mago yelled.
Kai gave him a bored look. "You act like a child in mud, so shut up. It's not about who he likes the most, just about who does not argue about childish things." Kai explained, trying to diffuse the situation. "Besides, all he wants me to do is make sure no one dies." Baker looks at the papers, Yoshi looking over his shoulder. Harley laughs. Wafi scoffs. "Too late." He mutters, crossing his arms Kai sighs and rolls his eyes. He has better things to deal with than Wafi's antics.
"He just told me to give you guys these, so once you're done then you guys can go home." Kai shrugged. He grabbed the stack of papers, placing them out on everyone's desk. "We need a name for you." Yoshi starts, sliding the paper to him. Kai sighed, staying quiet. "I have one! Daddy." Wafi jokes. Mago laughs quietly. "So what, every teacher you guys have you flirt with. This is a mess." Mago exclaimed, stopping abruptly when Kai handed a paper to him. "What- I'm not in this class." Mago said, confused.
Kai smiled. "He told me to specifically make you do this as well. Something about a promise?" He says, smirking. Mago looks about ready to fight Kai, but Harley pulls him back. "Just sit down, it's basically just a review." Harley states calmly. He pulls Mago by the back of his collar to his seat, right as Mago was preparing to hit him.
"How does Hisoki deal with this?"
