Harley lightly tapped his foot under the table.
It seemed Hisoki and Yoshi had gone silent, only the sounds of plates and others talking filling their ears. Hisoki wanted to take Yoshi and Harley out. He said it was because he wanted to see them again, and not just in a classroom. That had made Harley smile.
Yoshi nudged Harley's shoulder, getting his attention. "You are the only one who has been here before, please tell me what's good." Yoshi jokes while laughing. He was. Harley had recommended this place, mostly because of the good food. Harley shrugged lightly, scanning the menu once more. "They're sashimi is good... Oh, gimme!" He reaches for Hisoki's menu, since they all had gotten different ones.
Hisoki quickly gave it to Harley, moving the other out of the way for him. "Can we try the tempura?" Harley asked, suddenly excited about the fried fish. He had only tried tempura once, but he fell in love with it. However, because of how unhealthy it was, he couldn't eat much. Hisoki hums lightly, nodding his head. "Yeah, just order. I'll pay for it." Harley didn't want much, after all, spending everything in Hisoki's wallet never seemed like a good idea.
Yoshi giggled mischievously. "You sound like a sugar daddy." Yoshi giggles, propping up his menu so Hisoki couldn't see him. A sly smile crept onto Hisoki's face, something Harley hasn't seen before. Not that he was mad. Hisoki snatched Yoshi's menu from him, giving the boy nowhere to hide. He leaned his elbows on the table flirtatiously.
"Say that to my face, love."
Yoshi didn't say anything, red rising to his cheeks. He scooted over to Harley, hiding his face in Haré's arm. Hisoki quietly chuckled. Yoshi stayed cuddled up to Harley's arm, only stopping when the waiter walked up to them. "Welcome to Japan's Feast, my name is Adin, what would you like to drink?" The boy asked, grabbing a notepad and a pen. Before either one of them can say a word, Harley speaks up.
"Can I get three waters, two with ice and one without?" Harley ordered. He could feel both of their eyes on him. The waiter, Adin, nodded. "Ok, coming up." He said before walking away. He looked over at Harley, before at Hisoki. "Please marry me." Yoshi murmured, clinging back onto Harley, who didn't mind. "As fun as that would be, let's at least finish school first." Harley jokes.
"Hisoki, what are you going to get?" Yoshi asked, sitting up in his seat to look at the professor. Hisoki scanned the menu for a second, before closing it. "Probably just tempura, what about you?" "Umm….probably …..I'll just have some of Harley's food." Harley looked up at Yoshi when his name was called. "Oh, I'm just getting Yakitori." Harley answered, leaning back in his seat. He didn't mind sharing with the brunette. Yoshi nodded. "I'll get that then." Yoshi voiced happily.
As Hisoki pointed to an item on his menu, his sleeve lifted up, revealing a diamond and gold infinity bracelet. Yoshi grabbed Hisoki's hand, pulling his wrist forward to inspect it. "I gave you this."He murmured in wonder. Harley looked over. Yeah, that was Yoshi's gift to Harley for his birthday. Hisoki shrugged. "What did I say? I told you I would wear it everyday. And I do, you just don't see it."
The waiter can back with their drinks, placing them all on the wooden table. He placed the platter in his armpit, grabbing his notepad. Yoshi let go of Hisoki's hand, a faint pink on his face. "Ok, do you guys know what you would like?" He asked, a smile forming on his face. Hisoki nodded. Harley will let him order. "Tempura for me. And Yakitori for this one. And Onigiri for the brunette." Hisoki said kindly. The Adin took a second to write everything down before looking up. "Ok, it should be done in twenty minutes."
As Adin left, Yoshi turned to Hisoki. "Why did you get something for me? I could have just eaten Harley's food." Yoshi said, confused. Hisoki shrugged, cleaning up the table. "You'll get hungry if you two share. Plus it's just a side." Hisoki's voice, grabbing his own water. Yoshi hummed, nodding. "Ok, thank you, Hisoki.." Yoshi mumbled. The teacher only nodded to him. Yoshi turned around to meet Harley's eyes. "Where's the bathroom?" Yoshi asked, looking around. Harley thought for a minute. He leaned out of the booth pointing to the left of them. "Just down the hall." Harley instructed.
Yoshi nodded, stepping out of the booth. When he was out of sight, Hisoki sighed. Harley turned to look at him. "What's wrong?" Harley questioned worriedly. Hisoki smiles, tilting his head up to look at Harley. "Out of everyone, I expected you to catch on quicker." He voiced amusement on his face. Harley could hear it, the sudden change in his voice. Hisoki switched? When did that happen? Harley didn't even notice.
The student looked sternly at the other. "What's your name?" He asked, however the alter clicked his tongue. "Come on Harley, you know who I am. You wanted to choke me,'' the alter sighed dramatically. "And not in a fun way." He muttered. The altered leaned back in his seat. There were only three alters that he had met. Sahae, Kiso, and... shit. "What triggered you?" Harley asked, exasperated. "Yoshi's little comment. He's a cute kid, gotta say. Didn't want to ruin his fun. Hisoki put up a good fight though, it took a moment before I could take control." The alter explained vaguely. Suddenly, the boy stood up from the booth. "Let's go for a walk, hm? It'll be fun." The altar prompted. Harley looked at the altar, before sighing.
____
"So what, you just like to act like someone else?" Harley questioned. The altar had placed both hands in his trouser pockets. He didn't know where the other was taking him, but they didn't seem lost. "Depends. As much as I love myself, others don't. Plus, I know how Hisoki acts, better than any of you. It's easy for me to act like him, talk like him, etcetera. "So, it was you who ordered for Yoshi?" Harley turned to face the altar, who lightly shook his head. "No. Simply prompted Hisoki to do it." These vague answers really were getting on Harley's last nerve. He sighed, nodding.
Harley had the urge to ask about the sexual alter thing, but he didn't want the other to freak out.
The alter quietly gasped, staring at a boy who had headphones on. He leaned on the brick wall of the restaurant, looking at his phone. "He's cute. The alter mumbled to himself, beginning to walk up to the boy. However Harley was quick, grabbing the alter's wrist to pull him away. "Don't even think about it." Hr muttered. The alter sighed, turning to look at Harley. He tried to pull his wrist away, but Halrey only tightened his grip. "Why are you jealous?" He asked with a smirk. Harley however was quick to deny it. "What- no." He said, letting go. He expected the alter to walk over there, but instead he continued to look at Harley. He felt like a thin piece of glass.
"You aren't jealous of me, you're jealous because I look just like Hisoki, aren't you?"
Harley didn't say anything, which only made the alter smile. "You are! You like him, don't you? But, if you like him, then why did you treat Yoshi so well? Do you like him too? Do you like all of them?" The alter interrogated. "Shut up." Harly muttered with a glare. He pushed the alter slightly away from him, but the alter pulled him closer, whispering in his ear. "Don't worry, he loved them too-"
"Harley! Hisoki! What are you doing at here?!"
The alter stepped back, giving Harley space. The student looked over, noticing Yoshi running over to them. "Why are we outside?" Harley turned, seeing the alter looking at him. His face is delicate, no smirk. Harley sighed a breath of relief. "Hisoki?" He asked, just to make sure. He nodded. Harley smiled, hugging the other tightly. Yoshi tilted his head. "Did something happen?" Yoshi asked worried. He didn't want to ruin the night, he lightly shook his head.
"No, I just needed some fresh air."
But he couldn't get what the alter said out of his head.
