Eric approached quickly. His gaze immediately caught the two figures of babies who were in different but close together baskets. The sign said the babies belonged to his cousin.

Now things are getting more suspicious. It was clear that the middle-aged man had no good intentions. Could it be that he wanted to harm Maura's children?
"Who are you?" asked Mr. Edward.
"I'm Eric, Maura's cousin, and I also wanted to ask Mr. Edward and you the doctor." Eric deliberately narrowed his eyes, staring alternately.
Hearing the name again, Edward immediately paused to observe, then heaved a heavy sigh.
"Why do you look at your nephew as if it were yours." Eric turned to look at the doctor, "And you didn't say anything about my nephew who had survived. Instead you said to a stranger."
