"What's the plan?" Maura asked when Eric had led her away from Mr. Andrew's figure. Splitting the crowd of people who seemed to be talking.
Eric took him to meet someone in a corner of the party, standing with a blank stare, looking bored.
The man shrugged casually. "What plan? I don't feel like having a plan."
Maura narrowed her eyes suspiciously. He was not a fool who did not see the sparks of war between Eric and his father, Mr. Andrew. This arrival must have something to do with Eric's problem, not the type of matchmaking opponent or anything. Eric looks like he is showing it off like a gem he finds in the ground.
