Maura repeatedly caught her breath for a moment before the taxi stopped in front of the railing. Cold sweat dripped down his temples. The woman smiled slightly as she got out of the taxi.
His gaze immediately collided with the figure of Eric who was wearing casual clothes. Her cousin was sitting on the front porch talking to someone on her cell phone. His expression was cold, looking a little severe.
Eric was probably still not aware of his presence. The man looked very serious in his conversation. Maura sighed softly, stepping open the gate until it creaked softly.
Eric looked up. The man immediately ended the call.
"What did it take so long?" he exclaimed.
