[Loxious Moutain]
"Good Morning, Teacher!" The kids in unison greeted the man who just entered.
Wearing a usual cold look, the man nodded as a response to what the kids had said.
"You may sit already." The man commanded.
Teaching the kids to be respectable gods in the future was a hard thing to do. Especially for Hendrix, who has little to no idea about how these things work.
Well, luckily, after almost a thousand years of teaching, he successfully managed to give knowledge and skills that the kids will be needing.
Hendrix took a deep sighed before he proceeded to walk in the middle. "Who remembered what I taught, last time?" the man asked.
The children who were inside the house-like classroom fell in silence. It was not that they were not listening, but because Hendrix has an intimidating aura that was scaring them.
"So no one remembered what I taught?" The man strictly uttered and walked around.
A secret conversation formed within the children's eyes. Looking at each other, the kids didn't know what to do. They were asking each other about who would be the sacrificial lamb that will answer their teacher's question.
Without any choice to do, a young man, raised his hands midair. It was his turn to answer as he and his classmates have formed a list of their names. A sequence, listing their turns to answer so then they would be prepared and would not get scolded which Hendrix didn't know.
"Stand up and answer," Hendrix stated as he looked at the kid intently.
With a beating heart, the kid slowly stood up. There was a big lump on his throat as he opened his mouth. It took him some time before his lips could finally form a word. "Y-You taught us how to properly use the air clouds."
Hendrix nodded. It seems like the kids have understood what the lesson was like last time. "Who can give me the proper demonstration about how to properly use it?" He added in.
Silence rose up to the room. The kids looked at each other with widened eyes. They were not expecting that their teacher would ask another question.
Air clouds were used as a way of transportation for the immortal kids. Since they still don't have the ability to teleport. Air clouds were the fastest way for them to move around, especially when there's disturbance or chaos around.
As an immortal, their skills and abilities have limitations. They still need to learn a lot of things in order to ascend into gods once they grew up. Well, that of course was if they will pass the test that will be given to them.
Immortals are either the children of the gods, or gods that got demoted when they failed to do something. They're the middle beings in the Land of Vaile. Higher than the mortals, but lower than both gods and demons.
"I can demonstrate it, teacher."
The voice of another young man caught Hendrix's attention. Nodding his head, "Go in the middle and show us."
The young man nervously nodded his head. He stood up from his seat and went to proceed in the middle. If he only had a choice, he wouldn't do this. But since it was his turn now to answer, then he couldn't do anything.
He can even wet his pants due to the nervousness that he was feeling!
The young man closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and forwarded both of his palms. When he opened his eyes, his palms formed a triangle. Turning down both his pinky and ring finger, the man focused on until he found himself floating in the air with a ball of clouds underneath his feet.
The students clapped their hands, causing the young man to sigh out of relief. 'He did it!' With a smile lingering on his face, he went back to his spot proudly.
"Good job, Arthur," Hendrix commanded, knowing that his time and effort didn't go to waste from yesterday's lesson.
"Today's lesson will be you, just mastering the air of clouds. Next week, we will have a race. The one who will win will be exempted at the competition." Hendrix announced.
Excitement crossed around the children's eyes. They were eager to practice and win the race that would take place next week. Being exempted from the competition was such a big deal.
It's like the final examination where they had to show all the skills and abilities that they have learned. It will surely make their bodies ache since they have to compete with each other.
But the happy celebration was quickly put to an end when a knock from the door, echoed throughout. Hendrix saw his right hand, Phoenix, entering the inside of the classroom.
"God Azura, you have a visitor outside." The man bowed his head.
Hendrix's brows furrowed. Who would visit him in this mountain when he's teaching?
"Who is it?" He asked, with deep confusion running through his mind.
"God Callan," the man answered.
"Tell him to wait for me," Hendrix muttered as he glanced back to the curious faces of his students.
Sighing, Hendrix nodded his head. "Class dismissed," he announced, that brought joy to the children's heart.
Phoenix left the room after hearing what the man had commanded. He was Hendrix's right hand. He was a Qilin, a divine beast that was tasked to be the protector of the third Main God. Although he was currently in a human form since he only uses his original form when something bad happened.
With a teasing smile on his lips, "What did you master answer?" Callan asked.
"God Hend—" The man's words were cut off when someone spoke near their back.
"What brought you here?" Hendrix asked. His brows formed a straight line as he looked at Callan, who now has a huge smile on his lips.
