"Hi there, my dear friend," Callan teasingly looked at Hendrix. The annoyance was evident in the man's face that made him chuckle.
What a good way to annoy the man.
"Get straight to the point, Callan. I don't want to waste my time in useless things," Hendrix grimaced.
Making a face, "Don't you miss me?" Callan smiled.
Hendrix took a deep sigh and turned his body. It's pointless talking to the man. He was not even sure why Callan was here. Wasting his time was not part of his schedule. He had a lot of things to do.
"Okay, wait, wait, wait" Callan's eyes widened when he saw how the man turned his head.
Scratching his hair, 'When did Hendrix get this serious?' He asked himself. The last time that they have been together, he recalled that Hendrix was calm and easy to be with.
"Azura asked me to deliver his message since he was busy," Callan uttered. He opened his hand to show the tightly sealed paper that was rolled around.
He would honestly say that he was tempted to open the message. But that's not the right thing to do. And Azura would kill him if he even opened that one.
Hendrix looked over at the scroll of paper in Callan's hand. His brows formed a straight line as he took it. He didn't think twice and opened the letter that was said to be for him.
'You're obligated to come on my 3500th birthday. I have something important to discuss with you. -Azura'
A deep sigh escaped from Hendrix's lips. He looked at Callan, who was now staring intently at him.
"Azura said that whatever written in there needs to be followed," Callan reminded the man as he walked near him.
Gone from the playful atmosphere, the seriousness between the three men was now evident.
"It's been long since you came into your hall. I think Azura is right. It's already time for you to go back already," Callan said as he walked over to the end part of the mountain that was overlooking an entire forest on the bottom.
Hendrix followed Callan, "Tell Azura that I will go,"
The man glanced over at the guy on his side. "Do you want to surprise him now? Come back with me," Callan grinned.
Hendrix shook her head to the side. "What are you planning to do?" he asked. He was in doubt about the man's real motive.
A bark of laughter came out from Callan's lips. His eyes went to the man. "So, you still know me, huh?"
Hendrix remained silent after the man's question. He felt that it was really unnecessary to answer it. Or maybe he was really just not showy.
"Anyway, Erin's one thousandth birthday will come soon. You should be there and celebrate with us," Callan suggested, after remembering that the woman's birthday was coming soon.
"Compared to our age, Erin is still young," Hendrix answered back that made Callan rolled his eyes.
"Tsk, what's young in that. Go fetch your things now. I will wait for you here," Callan uttered as he sat on the ground to look over the forest that can be seen from the distance.
"Oh! And tell Phoenix to give me some wine. I'm already here, might as well try the wines that you are offering." The man smirked as he pointed at Phoenix, who was now making a face after hearing what Callan said.
"Do whatever you want." Hendrix shook her head. He left Phoenix and Callan alone on the mountain. He proceeded to go to the wooden house that he was currently staying at, gathering his important things.

"Are you trying to practice another spell again?" Amaris asked curiously when she saw Erin studying again in her hall.
Erin nodded without taking off her eyes on the book that she was reading. She thought that since she's grounded again, why not bother to learn some spells that could enhance her ability. At this rate, even if she can't use her powers properly, she can still have some importance in the Land of Vaile.
Erin grew up different from Azura and Callan. She grew up with her spiritual veins being blocked up. The two men and Amaris had tried to help her. But all their efforts were put to waste when in the end she still couldn't use her powers.
That's when she slowly realized that she needs to accept her fate and get used to living that way. In order to have a use, she started to learn more about spells and abilities that can be a great help to them.
"Why are you here?" Erin asked the woman when she noticed that Amaris was still standing in her front.
Amaris scratched the back of her head. "Azura asked us to go to his hall."
Erin nodded and closed the book that she was reading. She stood up from her seat and walked closer to the woman's side.
"I heard that Azura has a visitor," Amaris added in.
The woman's words piqued the curiosity of Erin. "Who?" she asked.
"I don't know, but let's go there quickly!"Amaris exclaimed as they both teleported to the inside of Azura's hall.
"Greetings to Goddess Erin and Goddess Amaris!" The servants greeted as they saw the two women suddenly entering the hall.
"Why did you call us, Brother?" Erin asked as he looked at Azura, who was now smiling widely in the middle of his seat.
"I know, it has been decades already, but I want you to greet Hendrix, Erin," the man stated.
