Erin's eyes widened in shock at hearing what the man had said. Her gaze moved around until she saw an unfamiliar person on the side. The man's hair was quite disheveled.
His gaze was cold as an ice. Radiating a stern aura that Erin was quite not used to. The man was wearing a red crimson black lining trench coat and an inner shirt pairing it up with black tactical pants and boots.
It was the same as what Azura and Callan were wearing. Although the two men were wearing light-colored ones.
"Greetings, God Hendrix," Amaris addressed.
Erin came into reality after hearing what the woman had uttered. She placed her hands together and bowed. "It's nice to meet you, Hendrix."
Hendrix nodded at what the women had said.
An awkward silence occupied the room afterward. Callan scratched the back of his head. He couldn't stand the uncomfortable atmosphere going around.
"Erin, let's go later to the Diamond River later," Callan suddenly muttered.
A smile rose up at the woman's lips. "Sure!" she happily answered. Her glanced went over in the middle. "Azura, I will get going now. I just came here since I heard you wanted to see me."
Azura nodded. "You can go now,"
Erin looked at Amaris and nodded her head, signaling the woman that they should leave already.
The servants inside Azura's hall all bowed their heads as they saw the two goddesses leaving the place.
"What do you want to talk about, Azura?"Hendrix asked.
After the two women left, the seriousness on the three men's faces quickly came back. Azura stood up from his seat and went down.
"You may leave now," He commanded at the servants who were staying inside.
"An unknown person went to the dragon clan's territory. I was still investigating who it was." Azura uttered as he opened his palms to show something. "This belongs to the person."
Hendrix grabbed the bracelet on the man's palms. His eyes gazed upon the bracelet, examining it carefully.
"This belongs to the Demons," He concluded.
Azura's brows knitted. "We are already at peace. Why would a demon invade one of the territories under the God realm?"
Callan walked closer and tilted his head to the side. "Are they creating another commotion?"
Shaking his head in disapproval, "I don't think it was this simple."
"Either way, we still need to be prepared." Callan agreed.
It has been more than 2 millennia since they went to war with the demons. It was quite unusual for a mere demon to enter their territory. Especially the Dragon clan that was considered to be a noble family.
"Callan, I need you to go to the Dragon clan. Find some witness that could tell any information about the culprit." Azura ordered.
"But I already told Erin that I will take her at the Diamond river," Callan butted in.
Azura went closer to the man, lightly smacking his head. "Then go there once you came back, you fool."
Callan raised both of his hands mid air. "Okay, I get it. You didn't need to smack me in my head!" The man made a face.
Rolling his eyes, Azura glanced over at their side and saw Hendrix watching them silently. "And you, Hendrix, I called you in the same matter, but different responsibility."
Hendrix, who heard it, let out a deep sigh. "What is it?" He asked.
An unusual smile crept on Azura's face. "You need to help Erin to unblock her spiritual veins. With that, she could start to venture more about her powers. It's already been decades, and she still couldn't use her power properly."
"Can't you do that?" The man asked. His forehead creased after hearing what the man had said.
"Will I ask you if I can do it?" Azura responded.
Taking a deep breath, Hendrix shook his head. "I'm still busy. I just came here because you said we have something to discuss," he objected.
Azura clapped his hands. "I know that you were busy teaching the immortal kids. So I asked someone to teach them for you. So, you don't have to worry about anything except for helping Erin,"
"Why didn't you tell me, then?" His expression turned brisk.
Scratching the back of his head, "I assure you, Erin is a talented student. She's a fast learner and will follow whatever you said. And those kids that you have been teaching are scared of you."
Calla who heard it almost laugh after hearing Azura's words. He fight the urge to do so when he saw the man glaring at him.
Hendrix nodded, "Let's see. I need to go now to check the things in my hall.
The man turned his body around and left the hall afterward. Callan walked closer to Azura. He placed his hands on the man's shoulder. "When did Erin become like that?" He asked teasingly.
Azura glanced over the man with his narrowed eyes. "You're the one spoiling her!" the man spated out. He left his hall, leaving alone Callan, who was now speechless.
'Why is it my problem now?' Callan asked himself.
