"Danger!" Adira said as she got up from her chair hurriedly. Even Maximus got up from his chair hurriedly. Both siblings started running.
Serene forgot the people around her and the situation. She started running behind them to whoop her children's asses. Her mission was important now!
"Mom, What did we do now?" Adira yelled.
"Does mom needs a reason to beat us, Angel?" Maximus yelled.
"Are you guys saying I am unreasonable?" Serene said as she started running around her faster than a second ago.
How could they back bitch their mother!!!
How could they!!
But Serene has to remember that they aren't backbitching but saying in front of her face.
"No, Mom! I didn't say. Brother said that!" Adira says pushing her brother into the hot soup. Maximus felt like an arrow stuck in his heart.
How could the world be so cruel? His pure angel betrayed him. For centuries there's one rule in the world that's to not mess with mothers.
"You, Devil! How can you betray me!" Maximus said as he picked a cushion from a couch before throwing it on her. Adira swiftly caught it with her single hand and threw it back on her brother. Maximus dodged perfectly.
"Didn't you say mom doesn't need a reason to beat us? It means she is being unreasonable to us. Mom is a smart one that's why she caught the underlying meaning of your words," Adira said with narrowed eyes at him.
"Indeed, Maximus said I am unreasonable," Serene said as she started running after Maximus leaving Adira.
"You sit my baby," Serene said to Adira.
Adira heaved a sigh and sat in her seat. She took the water jug and drank from it instead of pouring it into the glass in a most unladylike manner. She finished the water jug and placed it in front of her. She called the servants and asked them to replace the jug and water.
"Mom, that devil is provoking you to beat me! Don't listen to her," Maximus said still running.
"But you said!" Serene said.
"I won't leave you, little devil!" Maximus said. But Adira just stuck her tongue out at him.
"Mom, brother is bullying me," Adira said with a fake crying face.
"You brat! How dare you bully my daughter! I won't leave you today!" Serene said as she ran faster.
"Mom! Just use your brain and see! She is the one who is bullying me!" Maximus said feeling frustrated.
"Mom, brother is saying you don't have a brain! He is insulting you! The mother of the kingdom is insulted!" Adira said as she provoked her further.
"You little DEVIL!!!!!!" Maximus yelled at her.
Adira just winked at him and tried to suppress her laughter. Even everyone was trying to suppress her laughter.
"Brother there is no dust on your head," Adira said.
Hearing her he stopped and ran his fingers in his hair. There is nothing on his head.
"There is nothing on my head," he said angrily.
"I said the same," she said innocently. He understood her trick and decided to run but Serene caught him and started twisting his ear.
"You brat! I will get back to you," he said.
She stuck her tongue out at him like a kid.
Everyone started laughing at their fight.
Eudora even wondered if they were the royal family or not.
Adira mindlinked with her brother and said, [I can help you if you forget to get back to me. And do whatever I want. And the other benefit is…. I won't book you in front of mom and you don't do it for me either. Yes or no.] Adira said with a raised brow.
[You are taking advantage of the situation.] he said.
[I am not. See…. your wife is seeing you and everyone. If you want help seek me.] Adira said.
[Devil!] he cursed her.
Maximus's mind linked to his mother secretly and let her Adira's words.
"You brat!" Serene said as she tried to run after her.
"Mom, didn't you say act like lady-like? You are behaving like unlady-like!" Adira said immediately. Serene huffed and puffed and sat down.
She mind-linked them that she will take care of them after some time making them shiver. Adira passed a glare at him but she received a glare from her mother.
"You both! If I see you both here for another second! I will make sure you don't get dinner!" Serene said. They both ran away from the room leaving others to laugh.
