Ch-48
After the stunts in the room. Both Maximus and Adira came out and leaned on the wall as they panted. They both stared at each other before bursting out into laughter.
After their laughter died down, they walked away to their rooms.

Meanwhile…
Lenora was laughing heartily seeing the siblings' antics. Now she wondered why the werewolf kingdom was so healthy and good.
No matter what… she couldn't hold her laughter.
As she laughed, her laughter rang in the four walls making the other three look at her in astonishment. Serene felt happy seeing her daughter-in-law like that.
Zaros and Eudora were surprised. As they looked at laughing Lenora… they went into a trance. They snatched her smiles and happiness these years. As she laughed loudly her laughter sounded like a melody. She looked just beautiful.
They both felt guilty and it only strengthened their resolve to make them find the truth.
After the meeting, Eudora made arrangements along with Serene. They both worked together.

While….
Maximus walked back to his chambers and then rested for a while.
Waking up, he walked to the small council with his members.
"We shall invite the Vampire king to attend a meeting with us along with his elders. And stop my mother and Lady Eudora from making the arrangements before the meeting," said to his council.
"Yes, My Lord. We shall send the message to them now itself," Sir Cayonne said.
"But this may affect the pact," Sir Uhrich said.
"Well it doesn't mean we will let our princess in the hands of those bloodsuckers, Lord Uhrich," said sir Cornford.
"Since we treat their princess with respect and may even accept her as our queen, it only fair they return the favor and gives all the respect to our princess she deserves," Sir Mailer said.
"I will let my servant get the letter sent to them personally," Maximus said.
"My sister and our princess shall not grieve for anything. A tear from her would lead to the pact voidance. Even the great witch warned us. We have to be careful with the vampires," Maximus added.
A look of surprise appeared on their faces as they looked at the werewolf King.
"We support your decision, Your Grace," Sir Cornford said.
"We too," everyone beamed.
After the meeting, the letters were sent to the Vampires and Vampire King. Another letter was sent to the Werewolf Mother and the Vampire mother regarding the issue.
Walking back to his study, he started working on the papers he has to review and check. Werewolves were generally very loyal. Once they swear the oath of their loyalty they won't betray their leader. They believe if they break the oath, the moon goddess would curse them for all their lifetimes.
So, Maximus doesn't need to check them. But it doesn't mean he would deny checking them. Sometimes even the most perfect person can make a mistake. So, he would just cross-check them.
Most of his citizens would send their problems and request letters to the lords of their lands. If they couldn't solve it would go to the king.
But it rarely happens.
The system in the werewolves was always flawless. The ruling was picture perfect. Werewolves believe in brotherhood. They would rather help each other than plot at each other. But what is life with no problems? What's a kingdom with internal conflicts?
There were conflicts too and problems too. But they were solved meticulously. The system in the Werewolf kingdom barely has any faults.
Maximus checked the papers and petitions which were placed in front of them. He signed a few he kept the petitions with mistakes aside. And there were a few petitions which needed to be discussed, he kept them aside.
He put royal seals on the petitions, requests, and letters which were solved. He put them in a box so that the letter bearers and mailers to deliver them to the right places in the mail boxes. Well, this thing would be taken care of by his assistant.
