"Why do you look so calm?" Leon asked after having narrated all the details of his discussion with Alora.
"I had already guessed this much," Carmen shook his head with a sigh as he revealed.
"And you didn't care to tell me?" Leon questioned with a frown.
"It's not like she could've succeeded even if she tried to kill you. There was simply no reason for me to worry you with something this trivial," Carmen shrugged his shoulders as he casually responded.
Leon pursed his lips into a thin line and looked to be unimpressed as he heard this.
"But now that matters have reached you this soon, why not agree and team up with her?" Carmen innocently tilted his head and asked with a thin mischievous smile.
Leon's face cringed up as he heard such a suggestion and he strongly reacted against it, "Absolutely no!"
Carmen shook his head with a sigh and wasn't willing to admit defeat just yet so he spoke up and continued, "This can be a chance for the two of you to grow closer together. She might just reveal her weaknesses and you'll perhaps be able to finally get rid of her once and for all. Who knows? Maybe you'd even end up finding out what forgotten memory she was talking about."
Leon gulped as he heard this and shockingly enough, he took a few minutes to seriously think about Carmen's words.
To kill a few succubi was not really a big deal for him. In fact, it was as easy as snapping his fingers, however, he was still feeling reluctant about helping Alora through that snap of a finger.
He wanted to make her life hard and not easy so it was only natural that he was hesitant to join this plan.

"So what if he says no?" Daren munched on his garlic bread as he casually questioned.
"Then I go and beg Carmen to help me," Alora replied with a sigh.
"What makes you think he'd help you?"
"I don't know," Alora shrugged her shoulders as she answered with a small frown, "I just have a feeling that he'd much easier to convince. The man loves drama and assassinating three demons who have been plotting the murder of the demon prince is surely going to be dramatic as hell."
Daren couldn't help but chuckle as he commented, "That sounds a lot like me. If you weren't covered with so much drama, I wouldn't have been interested in becoming your friend."
"..." Alora pursed her lips into a thin line and rolled her eyes as she took a minute to respond, "I finally understand why you have no friends."
"No, honey. That's you," Daren blatantly retorted, "At least, all my friends are not some random strangers that I met on the internet."
Alora hated the fact that she couldn't even refute that statement.
Alora sighed and opened her mouth to say something but their conversation was suddenly interrupted by Mari who came over and tapped Alora's shoulder in a friendly manner.
"We meet again," Mari spoke with a blinding smile.
Alora gulped as she heard the voice and turned around relutanly to face the woman.
Daren seemed to have already heard about everything from Alora and for some unknown reason, it looked like he believed the girl.
"You must be Mari," Daren smiled as he held his hand out forward for a handshake, "We've been in the same class for an entire semester but it seems that we haven't had the chance to patiently have a conversation."
Alora almost wanted to laugh as he heard the sarcastic comment that didn't sound wrong to Mari.
"I know right," Mari giggled as she held his hand, but the moment their skins touched, Mari flinched as she jerked her hand back.
Her smile dropped almost instantly and her eyes widened in shock as she looked at the man with a speechless expression plastered on her face.
Daren's smile deepened as he saw such a reaction but he only chuckled as he spoke, "It seems that I have gone too far with my tricks."
He took out a finger taser and it seemed that Mari wasn't the only one who was surprised to see it.
"Yah! Did you seriously just tase her?" Alora didn't know if she was supposed to laugh or be angry about it as she questioned.
"I just couldn't hold back the urge to tease her," Daren raised his hands in a surrendering manner as he responded.
"Are you okay?" Alora asked as she turned to look at Mari, but it seemed that Mari was still in a daze after that sudden shock.
"Mari...?" Alora tilted her head ever so slightly as she got a bit worried.
Mari snapped out of her thoughts and gulped as she shook her head in disbelief and whispered something to herself before lifting her head to look at Alora, "It's nothing. It seems that I was mistaken about something."
"Mistaken?" Alora frowned as she repeated, feeling a little confused, but instead of waiting to say anything further, without even bothering to say goodbye, she ran away.
"What is wrong with her...?" Alora's eyebrows creased together as she questioned.
"Probably got a little shocked," Daren shrugged his shoulders as he spoke.
Alora turned around to look at the man once again and Daren immediately poked her arm with the finger taser.
As an immediate instinct, Alora flinched but it didn't take her long to realize that there was no serious power inside the finger taser.
"What the...? This is weaker than the gaslighter I have back at home!" Alora clicked her tongue.
Daren chuckled as he heard this but didn't bother saying anything about it.
"By the way, speaking on the topic that had been interrupted, If the demon prince doesn't agree to join you, come to me for help."
Alora pursed her lips together and looked at the man with an unimpressed expression as she heard this.
"And how would you plan on coming to hell?" Alora rolled her eyes and questioned, "If you kill them here, you'll have to serve jail time."
"I have my ways," Daren smiled as he calmly responded, "As long as you ask me for help, I'll be there."
