As Gao Longwei left the house to go get the textbooks, Feng Jiao was getting extremely sleepy.
She yawned, but decided to open the textbook anyway.
She had promised Gao Longwei that she would put in some effort and do her best at studying for this test. She needed to, at the very least, take a glance at her textbook. She didn't even know what was in there, and she was going to have to face Gao Longwei when he returned.
She knew that it contained something along the lines of calculus, since that was what teacher Wu would write at the top of the board every class, but she hadn't ever looked into the textbook.
On top of that, she had skipped every math test this year, adn the one she did attend, she filled out the bubbles randomly and barely got passing marks. It was based on luck and some guess work, but no one so far had suspected that she had never opened the textbook.
Now that it was time for her to finally open it, it felt like an auspicious moment of sorts.
